Fairly straightforward to reach by train. From London get on a GNER train, change at Darlington then local Northern service train to Middlesbrough. Some GNERs do stop at Northallerton, and you can change there and get a TransPennine Express train to Middlesbrough.

Jojo, if you can get to Edinburgh you can get to Middlesborough. Two hours at least less travelling time. I could arrange B*B for youi f you want or you could stay at mine. It would be great to see you again. Jenny xx

Ann, right I knew someone would ask;; but I thought Darlington would have known them;; Pork terderloin or Chicken, cooked under grill with white Parmasan sauce and cheese on to then grilled Beautiful;; all my lodgers get hooked on them, and they do not do them in Cumbria, Hull, Blythe.Sunderland ect;; There was a place opened here must be about 40 yrs age who came up with this Italian recipe called the Europa,! and since then most of the fishy`s ect do them ,,,,Loverly chips and salad Babs

Dianne (Goldstraw) might be interested. She lives not far down the road from me and we chatted not too long ago about there being a Teesside meet in the future. I'm sure she'll see this thread though.
