1) bad drivers who turn out to be on mobile phone. 2) People who in this weather clear about 15cm 'letterbox' of snow or frost from their car windscreen to peer out of while driving in the hope the rest will thaw!! (Happened the other day) 3) Getting 'disconnected' after waiting in a telephone queue in which you have already been transfered several times. 4) Those few Smokers that expect you to give them consideration to smoke, but give none to you who don't want to. (I don't mind if you smoke as long as you don't mind if I don't. :0) ) 5) people that screw up then shout or stare angrily at you or someone else as if it's your fault! 6) Weevils! 7) People that call me 'Sweetheart' that I don't know. 8) The occasional person at work, that ignores me when I've kindly answered the door to them, then heads straight to a male colleage to answer their question (Technical stuff see)....who then quite often has to ask me anyway!!! Ha! 9) Err...people that keep on and on...moaning about the same things.... Oh so I guess I best stop there! Sue *Deep Breaths and sighs now*

Here's another one. People who tink they know more than you do about your specialist subject - even though they have no 'qualifications' in the subject!

Pat

Pat Report 29 Nov 2005 21:47

Which one the white? well I don't remember but prefer Dry Cane if I ever want white rum. Golden rum is so much nicer Appleton Special isn't too good. They are all best in punch anyway. 21 year old is lovely, the best & nicest is Appleton Estate mixed rum it's yummy ;-) Pat x

Pat

Pat Report 29 Nov 2005 21:36

Hope you don't change David, you just wouldn't be the same :-) Yuck Bacardi if ever one has to drink white rum it should be no less than DRY CANE or Appleton Rum from Jamaica :-) Paul lol Pat x

Unknown Report 29 Nov 2005 21:29

lol Andy & Pat - well I never claimed I was cheerful or nice :) Gwynne:))) I'm going to spend my next free 10 minutes composing a really badly spelt pm to you, with all the apostrophes in the wrong place:)

Andy

Andy Report 29 Nov 2005 21:27

Gwynne, probably just a minor offence on its own, but don't try breaking several at once though, he may self-combust. ;)

Pat Report 29 Nov 2005 21:23

It's really good to see David Owen having so much fun LMHO. Paul putting this thread up must be your good deed for the day ;-) Pat x

Andy Report 29 Nov 2005 21:21

It's a hard life, eh David? lol ;) Andy *wonders whether this innocuous comment has fallen foul somewhere of the Owen commandments* :)

A few more:) People taking advantage of my irritations (Daniel /Bec /BC /Strump) Insincerity & injustice (ta Pat:)) Bumping into ex partners and former friends when I look like s**t Barpersons asking if you'd like dark rum when you ask for rum - if you want bacardi you ask for it don't you? People dropping hints instead of saying what they mean Martyrs Thanks Paul - this is sooo cathartic:)

**Sheesh

**Sheesh Report 29 Nov 2005 21:00

People finishing my sentences for me. Dogs who yap at a bird flying by. Dogs who think my front gate is a toilet. My kids saying 'mam, mam' then completely ignoring me when i answer. People saying you're a big girl. My cat trying to bite my fingers when i type or move the mouse. My other half picking her toenails - yuck Think im quite easy going really :-)

dont you just love it when you are driving along at a steady 70 or so and coming up on a gaggle of geeks, and you will ALWAYS find that one will pull out and slowly keep pace with the crowd , going about 50..but in the outside lane............as has been said, forcing you to brake, dont they EVER use their mirrors? I was always taught that overtaking traffic has the right of way, and let them by, first..........Bob

Pat

Pat Report 29 Nov 2005 20:57

Paul behave, some of us just can't help it ;-) I find it irritating being one, but it isn't irritating watching other thread killers, I have to admit I actually enjoy it :-))) Pat x

Mandy in Wiltshire

Mandy in Wiltshire Report 29 Nov 2005 20:51

Having calmed down after my little contretemps with NatWest Business Banking (gggrrrrrr!), I'll list the remainder of my irritations (which, incidentally, are mostly either grammar or driving related!): People who say 'off of' instead of 'off' People who say 'for free' instead of 'free' People who say 'could of' instead of 'could have' And people who overuse the word 'basically'! Drivers using mobile phones whilst driving Drivers who pull out in front of you, forcing you to brake sharply Tailgaters Also very irritated by: Liars Cheats Backstabbers and people who are nasty just for the sheer hell of it. Have I caught up with David yet? Mandy :))
