11 out of 12 - well done Pat! Daniel Massey was Noel Coward's godson and played him in Star, he appeared with his father in 'The Queen's Guards' (1960) and his sister in 'Vault of Horror' (1973) . Gertrude Lawrence was buried in the pink satin hooped ballgown that she sang 'Shall We Dance?' in from the Broadway production of THE KING AND I. Apparently Bette Davis wanted to play Scarlett which went to Vivien Leigh. Jason Robards died from metastasized lung cancer As far as Jack Lemmon's birth - the lift may have been going up to maternity.

Nicholas Hammond sold septic tanks for a time. Charmain Carr started a decorating company. Michael Jackson is one of her clients. She was working as a physician's assistant when she was cast in The Sound of Music Now you know. And I had to Google for your one Aileen - William Henry Pratt - was known on the screen as Boris Karloff! Who played Guy Masterton in 'Guys and Dolls'?

Oh chugging along Lucia. My short sabbatical from working has lasted about 14 months. I'm bored stiff. Was alright at first but as time has gone by have got lazier by the minute. Not the right time of year to be looking for a job but got my act together last week and in one day have interviews for four jobs next week. Three are law orientated and the other is something entirely different. No worries if they don't come to anything. At least I am hopefully joining the human race again!

You know I don't google John. I leave that to others. Gone and thrown the big two page article about the cast of the Sound of Music in the bin! Wasn't Hammond into selling bathroom tanks or Thomas Crapper's (toilets). As for Charmaine Carr. Haven't a clue. Something in the music industry maybe or a lawyer?
