Hi Lucia :-) A very young oldie, I think you might be the youngest oldie on here LOL Hello Dorothy :-) The boards are bound to move on like life itself still it is a shame that some find it a little intimidating to post after a very long absence :-( Hope that does change & we will see more oldies posting again. Pat x

Hiya Jean :-))) None of us should feel we need to be expert at writing i'm rubbish at grammar & sometimes I get upset about my spelling errors. I think it's more important to post than worry too much about such things. As long as we are understood no one should stand in anyone else's judgement on the way we post. Pat x

Hi Pat, What a nice idea. I don't post much. Not as articulate as some on here and find it difficult to find the right words sometimes (this must qualify me as an oldie) but spend a lot of time reading the threads. Thank you to everyone, old and new, for giving me so much entertainment. Jean x.

I will be nudging this thread now and then, hopefully for people to spot it & add to it. I will eventually delete some of the nudges rather than clutter it the thread with them. Thank you to those who have added. Pat x

Hiya Middley Lemon lol. Hi Ann how are you? Thank you I do hope it may encourage some of our old board mates to post, I understood what Shaz meant and I am sure there are others who probably feel like she does, felt sad to think that can be happening, so I thought maybe this would be of help. It might encourage people to post again, even just a hello. Wish I didn't have to call longer serving members oldies don't know what else to call them :-( Pat x

What a brilliant idea Pat, it would be lovely to 'see' some 'old' faces on here. I am sure that you are right and we oldies can get a bit intimidated by lots of chat from people we don't know. Even i get confused sometimes and I am on here most of the time. It must be even more confusing with the Christmas names, so welcome old friends (and new of course), sign in here. hello Carol and Sandra, good to 'see' you. Ann Glos (A very oldie!!! in more ways than one)
