JULES Don't worry about that rogue kilo. A woman's weight fluctuates at different times of the month anyway. Keep persevering and you should find that you lose the kg you won along with another kg. ANNE Well done! You LOST weight, that's the main thing, it doesn't matter how much. Just remember that the slower you lose the weight, the less likely you are to put it back on! BUTTERFLY Well done! To get through the peckish time I don't think you can go wrong with a piece of fruit or some raw vegetables. Oh... and try drinking lots of water too. Tip - water is boring but sparkling water is a bit more interesting and is even better if you squeeze half a lemon or lime or even a tangerine into it! I discovered this last summer through experimentation because I was so fed up with water. I cannot have 'diet' drinks because nutrasweet/aspartame sets off my asthma. |

I got weighed at the Weigh Centre in Newcastle yesterday. (Acurate weight to the ounce) In 5 days I've lost a grand total of - 3 ozs! still better than putting on 3ozs. I hope all the extra exercise shows up next week Anne |

Hi everyone. Can I join in too, please? I lost 12kg in the last 6 months of last year, so my goal for the first few months of this year is to definitely stay below 70kg and if possible to lose another 5kg. Helen |

How does tis work then. Do we all have are own weigh in days and just post the results? Or is there another way? Deb :-) I keep trying to start but not good yet. Been poorly since xmas day, with tummy bug and now horrendous cold and cough, barking like a b****y dog. But will get there. |

Jumped on the scales & have lost 6LB. Really chuffed. I had put 2 on over Xmas , but 4 is good. I have been cutting out the snacks & drinking water before my meals. Now I want to get the exercise off to a good start & will pick up one of those free packs from Boots. Lorraine |

Wow Theresa, that is fantastic. I'm keeping up my walking, and was at the gym this am, but I haven't lost anything yet. I find it is a couple of weeks later that I feel the difference. Keep it up Anne |
