Lynn - It's tricky.... I'd like to get down to a 10/12 (I'm 5'3 & 1/3)... problem is on top I'm HUGE (ie. 36G) and they keep getting bigger!

I started a diet on Wednesday 25th January 2006. I am doing it for myself and also to help hubby. He has to lose weight for an operation in six months time. I have just over three stone to lose and hubby a bit more. It is my first weigh tomorrow morning (and I have to have a wisdom tooth out to boot!). So, please wish me luck that I have lost some weight? I have been good and stuck to it quite easily, but its only the first week......We are doing weghtWatchers points as its easy and fits around work and kids! Hubby joined a gym and im swimming three times a week. Wish us luck..... Vikki xx

Can I join in with you lot please - I could really do with some encouragement! I stared Weight Watchers about 3 weeks ago and it's going very slowly, I lost 1 pound in my first week and 2 in my second, but yesterday I had only lost half a pound! I have had bad constipation all week and suspect that that would add half a pound which would make it 1 pound lost in the last week? I have to say I'm getting a bit disheartened with it - I'm doing points and have been really good - I've only eaten healthy food and have been getting more exercise - but I'm just not shifting it very fast, I almost cried yesterday as my Sister had been naughty in the week and even had an Indian Takeaway and she lost 2 pounds! I need to loose 2 stone to get to a sensible weight, but my goal is to loose 3 stone - how can I sustain a good 2 pound loss a week without killing myself? lol Well done all of you who have lost weight, I'm really impressed. Have decided to lose weight on my own as I find that as soon as I enrole anywhere, I instantly become constipated and bloated and put several more pounds on. So have just watched what I put onto my plate and swam a few more lengths of the pool. To my delight I lost 4lbs this week. In just under 10 weeks I'm off to New York so I would like to be 1 1/2 stone lighter. So to all of us on here GOOD LUCK and we can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Julie xx

I will weigh in tomorrow morning as I forgot today. Have fitness class tonight . Our instuctor is great I have also just ordered elastic bands & video at special price of £4.25 so I can do something else at home. Apparently using bands thus causing resistance uses more calories to be burnt from 15% - 50% Lorraine
