what about this one then....have you noticed that Americans never ever have a Elecric Kettle!!!! have a look at the movies, I bet I am right..Lol....I asked my American DIL, who has only been living in England for 4 years.....she said its because the American don't like to clutter up their work tops, how bizarre is that!!! when you think of all the other gagets they have....!!..oh, by the way, my DIL don't have a electic kettle either , just the sort you put on the cooker, that whistles when its boiling.!!!!
