I stopped smoking last year and still remember crying as I wanted a fag soooo much ...and I really mean I cried!!! Every day you manage not to smoke is absolutely brilliant...you are a credit to yourself!! Sue xx PS you should be so bl**dy proud

keep it up, guys! 9 weeks today for me and 5 months for my husband. The oddest thing is that i can now smell a smoker and think, OMG i used to smell like that

Hi James.. I was also a 'very' heavy smoker. A chain smoker.. Although I am still getting the craving it is getting easier by the week. Wishing you good luck.. Into another week...Hope the others are coping. Gray

Came home from shopping today and friend (smoker) was in my kitchen. I could smell his ciggy from the front door. Yeuch!!!! Joy (11 days without a ciggy)

Day 18 and I've had to reduce the strength of the gum I'm chewing from 4mg to 2mg. When I'm only chewing 2 gums per day then I stop using the gum. Things I've noticed:- Sense of smell/taste is returning. Skin doesn't feel as dirty. How bad other smokers smell. House smells nicer. Joy

Sorry.. It is back to day ONE for me... Had a cigarette dinner time..which led to another..etc. I really thought I had cracked it but the craving was getting worse...not easier..will try again tomorrow.. Not pleased with myself..to say the 'Very' least Grayxx
