think next time might post recipe for shortbread or macaroons. did ur mum used to cook those 4 u as bairns as well yvonne, some nice old fashioned scottish favourites, when i was a wee bairn in me ma's kitchen growing up.

INGREDIENTS, 1LB SUGAR,2OZ CHOPPED UP BUTTER,APPROX 6OZ EVAPORATED MILK, METHOD, MIX ALL IN SAUCEPAN,COOK ON HIGH HEAT FOR ABOUT 12 MINS,EVERY TIME IT BUBBLES UP BEAT IT WELL,POUR INTO A GREASEPROOF PAPER LINED SLIM PAN, LEAVE TO SET THEN CUT INTO YOUR DESIRED SIZES, PERFECT FOR THOSE WITH A SWEET TOOTH.
