I have an Uncle who worked on the Clyde shipyards, lives at Port Glasgow - funnily enough he looks and sounds like Billy Connoly...

I was always 28 Jill, but now my daughter is nearly 34, I had better start to grow up! I usually mix with girls of 20 to 40 so I do not feel or act my age. G'day Kiwi, how's the weather?

I'm way down south in dear old Hemel Hempstead where the oil smoke clouds come from. I'm half Scottish, from a long line of coal miners from Ayr, Lanark,Dumfries & Galloway. but have visited most of Scotland - love the place.....

Oh I really beg your pardon then - it was just the wee swallie that got me - I can't remember the programme, but it was a family from the Gorbals, really good comedy, husband wife and two sons and two friends - I don't mean I think you're from the Gorbals - God I think I had better stop typing here!...

It's nice to make the contact but a couple of cousins have traced most of Mums family back to the 1600s so it will be no help to me. As long as my cousin is in agreement though I may be able to help this relly with his tree.
