Had a terrible day on this pc wonder you didn't hear screams from me Installing new Norton prog was a real pig just wouldn't go properly, dancing a jig Jumping up and down with temper had to keep scanning for ever and ever Knocking on wood that it's now complete and won't keep coming back with 'please delete' Let's hope tomorrow is a better day couldn't be worse ''hip hip hooray!''

Usually try to add a rhyme each day Try to think of new things to say Very cold I’ve been all day (hoping it will soon be May) We’re off to the theatre, Dry Rot to see Friends, me hubby, and little old me Xtremely lucky we got a good deal (though he’s too mean to buy a meal!!) You must remind me to tell you all (To see how much I can recall) Zillions of hugs (and kisses to) From me in Kent, to all of you

Quickly popped in before I go to bed. Today has been quiet on this thread. Rally round and say hello, nothing could be easier you know. Some people pop in every day I just cannot keep away. To all my friends both old and new I am very tired so goodnight to you!

Lovely sunny day it's been today going to the postbox, I got blown away! Make the most of this fair weather Because they say the cold will be severe Now perhaps that will be the last spell of cold we'll get - but who can tell Oh, won't it be great when it's so warm that basking in sunshine will be the norm! Please make it soon, I hear you cry and I agree - and we can all fry!

Hope Dee is feeling better. she is usually a go-getter! I'm sorry to read those thoughts of childhood they really did not sound very good Just reading them reminded me of how things used to be. Kids did not answer back if you did you would get a smack! Looking back at how my mum used to be she worried about her own childhood poverty Made her absolutely sure that we would never want for more Now I understand why she seemed uptight although at the time it didn't seem quite right On a much more cheerful note, I read all the things that you wrote Perhaps Grannie Annie will get to Aussie one day and have a really super stay. Quickly must say hello to Kay, I was glad to see you on here today Really hope Dee enjoys her studying day (hope she isn't given another essay!)

I haven't any jokes to tell But Dee, you've obviously done well! Just count your blessings, so they say Each morning is another new day Knocked me back that you're so down come on now Dee, lose that frown Life's a gamble, that's what I reckon lots of chances always beckon My Mum was like yours sadly anything we said, she took badly Nothing for it I decided when young so left home at 18 and begun On making my own way in life fought my own corner and battles and strife Pleased to say that now I'm here many years later and full of good cheer Questions many I've had during those years why Mum was so bitter, and full of tears Research I have done into what happened But nothing I've found at all explained So just sad, she wasted her life in that way But hey - come on! It's another new day! Tuck those memories way down deep an appointment with destiny we must keep! Ups and downs are part of living so cheer up Dee - be happy and giving Very pleased I am you started this thread so be proud of yourself - hold up your head!

As I sit here before my screen I think of how things could have been But who knows what life would have brought (it could have been worse, just a thought) Came last at school, that’s for sure Was once a dunce, but not no more Didn’t have siblings to share my toys Or to talk to of life’s woes and joys Even as I sit here feeling glum I know who to blame, it was my Mum Friends have said she was so cold If only her secrets she had told Getting morbid, sorry folks Has anyone got any jokes? Had better go and start some tea Will come back later you all to see
