Good Afternoon Wattlers, I have had a stress full day today. 7am Log on to find some info for Neville. Opened 3 emails, read the wattlers thread. Logged off Finished laminated my B M D certificates. 10am Logged back on, up comes program, click on tab, nothing, computer completely frozen. Close down. Log on in safe mode, nothing. Switch all off. Log on in last known good configeration. Nothing. Getting angry. Go through it all again, getting palpitations, how will I manage with out my puta. 10.55am Try again and yippee everything is working. 11.55 log off Have lunch, heart palpitations have calmed down now. 2 pm Log on, you guessed it. Frozen solid. Now very angry, banged the mouse about ( please don't tell RSPCA) , unfreezes. I think the mouse has thrown a wobbly on me. Grab Neville's mouse and all is working. Fingers crossed. Maybe its time I treated myself to a new mousy. Lara, will be thinking of tiger on Tuesday. Laurie, well done. Jood, do you use Legacy all the time and which do you think is best legacy or Family tree maker. I use legacy. Lew, bet you could get two pairs of limo shoes in the gum boots. LOL Mary, think my chickens have reached their used by date. Had to buy eggs this week. No one wants to kill them so will just let them live out their lives in comfort. Well, going to get a shandy, it's starting to heat up in sth east Qld today. Bye for now Luv SuzyQ |

yeah yeah Mary - I know you turn off at Mudgee on the left, but need to know how far it is from Lithgow (easy to miss if I'm day dreaming) I've looked up TravelMate, but I dont know Lew's address out in the bush - I guess I could drive up a little hill and yell out Lew Lew Yoo Hoo, couldn't I? lol .. She'd come speeding along in her little Lizzy and find me, wouldn't she? Oh well, got to get Bendigo out of the way first before I start worrying on that one! Now who's been spilling milk on my keyboard eh???? omg lol Jood |

AAhhh Jood ,, Getting to Mudgee is easy,,, carry on up your road and once you pass Macdonalds in Lithgow , you come to the turn off to Mudgee,, about 10 minutes past Mackers. It is on the left side of the road so stay in the left lane. You go up a ramp and over the top of the highway.. From there just follow your nose.. The smell of all those lovely pills at lews place will guide you... Go into www*travelmate*com*au and fill in the way you want to go and get up a map that tells you every street and turn..from door to door...I use it to tell me how to get to where I want to go. Put in your address and Lews address and bingo, Lunch calling.. Hi JA, Glad you are relaxing,,,Thought I could check if your Joseph went to the States but the butters have made the passenger list a pay to view again..I have him in the 1891 but still looking for the 1901.. back later Love Mary xxx |

Yes Mary, Im awake, I had a few more hours sleep - a very very late brekky, trying to tidy up but have been stirring the Wattlers up here a bit. JA I'm afraid I'm back to my rather hectic lifestyle. Have an important committee meeting on Monday which I have had to put a bit of time to, then carry all my stuff upstairs only to carry it downstairs in 10 days time :(( Got a lot of work to do before I leave for Bendigo on 16th January. (That includes checking the map, as I'm coming home via a relative's place - and I've never been that way before, so want to be absolutely sure) I'm concerned even about getting to Lew's place lol - will make sure my mobile phone is fully charged up. Love Jood |

Great number catch Gwenda! That dratted Cat must be busy pinching other people's numbers methinks - where are you puss -rather like Mr D, wandering around to other people's houses lol We did get some welcome rain too –started about 4 am – just very windy now and overcast. Jood, as Mary says, take it easy - always takes me a few days to catch up after Perth, even if there for only a few days and you had a few weeks. Fanny, glad your computer is stuggling along, missed you yesterday – how about a pickle of the new haircut, and would love the ones of the house too. What fish have you been catching? (envy envy lol) Also of your Romany heritage. Hugs to Ducky. Hope you get more rain H by the river Lew, looking forward to hearing how the wellie prob is solved lol – stuff them with underwear on top of Fanny shoes. Who owns the boat you are cruising from Darwin to Broome, people tell me it is a great experience. I am off to do some FH for the first time in weeks – still trying to find my Joseph William Armitage after 1891 – he was born in Clerkenwell in 1866. Was an organ pipe maker in 1891 census – (annotated musical instrument). Was an organ builders apprentice in 1881. He lived in Huddersfield both census. I think I need to send for a few death certs now as I cannot find him on any emigration records. To everyone else, have a good day JA |

I had a better idea Lew - buy an expensive dress which they will wrap and put in one of those nice plastic shopping bags with solid handles, take the dress out, put the gum boots in there and carry them on board. Another option (which I don't think you will like) - is to join the gumboots with a long piece of string, and embark on the ship with them around your shoulders??? .. What would Petee say? .. tee hee I ended up having poached egg Lew, tomorrow will probably be tinned spaghetti on toast. Fanny - where is this house you've been talking about - is it near any of the wattlers (I can't remember whether you said it was the UK or Oz) .. Fascinating stuff - you'll have to send us all a pic of the different time frames. See Fanny - I did miss you yesterday. And I was right about you falling asleep on the sofa wasn't I lol (I prefer to fall asleep on a bed if possible) Pouring down outside - I knew I should have washed the sheets yesterday - oh well, another spin dry job and then the dryer. .. Seems like we are going to get rain constantly, but in dribs and drabs. (I mean for the next two months, but not every day!) Better get and do some tidying up (as opposed to h********k) Ooooh Flakey, you snuck in. Be great if you can make it to Bendigo also. Lara, all the best to Tiger for his op on Tuesday. Jood |

Morning Wattlers from beautiful Hammo, about 32 today and ocean is a magnificent aqua and really calm, good fishing weather I'm told. But then they said that yesterday and we spent most of the day catching nothing and watching the tuna jumping out of the water around the boat. ...lol We did some great snorkeling on a reef off one of the smaller islands and saw turtles and a dolphin. Merle, did I see you are looking for Burgoynes? I know someone who has Burgoynes in Aust, so if you're interested remind me when I get home and I'll put you in touch. Lew, dont know when you go so if I dont get back before you go have a great time and try not to dispense pills to the other tourists, they might not understand like we do...lol Congrats Laurie on the win. Jood will let you know about Bendigo when I get home and see what I'm needed for at the factory. DIY is away at the money pit I think, thats why you havent seen her. Trifley, good luck this week, will be thinking of you. Ducky.....coooeeeeeee Have to get off before I get chucked out by this stupid net, have a graet day everyone Flakey |

good morning all, puter was out of action yesterday while poss. gave it a good fixing. I have a funny 'slot' where my graphic card goes and every now and then he pulls it apart. I need an upgrade, but poss will just fix it for me until it becomes more serious. I did fall asleep on the lounge yesterday. both times had tried to watch tele, but went into deeper relaxation mode. I'm waiting wating for mail about 'the house. my nan lived there for about 40 years, then I suppose the other lady did . My cousin went and took a photo for me and sent it. Its funny, I've got 1 from when my dad was about 10, 1 from when i was 2 and this photo. Anita gave me another haircut yesterday, really short this time, don't even need to stick gel in it. We're off for a walk but now have to wait for the rain to stop. Jood, i think you are still in WA time, and brain still thinks youre going to get a coffee in bed. catch you later love Yvette x |

GWENDA!!!! You naughty girl, number pinching like that, lol So what was the decision, Jood? Haven't had spaghetti on toast for ages. Just might have to have that for dinner, yum Pleased to hear that you had a nice visit with the Duck, Loz. I'll ring her again today and see what type of medication I can administer. Well, the packing started last night and damn those gum boots take up a lot of room!! :-( That'll mean I have to cut back on other shoes and this does not make me very happy :-(((( Terry has been busy planning our next holiday and has booked us onboard the Oceanic Discoverer sailing from Darwin to Broome in last August. We've never been to Darwin, so will go up about a week before the sailing date and do some touring. Should be fun. Catch up later HRH Dr Lew Lew xxx |
