Just read an email from a friend and couldnt resist posting Housework was a woman's job, but one evening, Jenny arrived home from work to find the children bathed, one load of laundry in the washer and another in the dryer. Dinner was on the stove, and the table set. She was astonished! It turns out that Ralph had read an article that said wives who work full-time and had to do their own housework were too tired to have sex. The night went well and the next day, she told her office friends all about it. 'We had a great dinner. Ralph even cleaned up. He helped the kids do their homework, folded all the laundry and put it away. I really enjoyed the evening.' 'But what about afterward?'asked her friends. 'Oh, that .., Ralph was too tired..' God is good. Hee Hee Shaz

Returned from the walk. Miles and I took advantage of the queer weather and had a decent ramble with the pooch. Returned through the scrubby stuff behind the beach, showed him my 'bone'which I'll tell you about later and checked out the stuff on the high tide mark. on the way back we met an oldish bloke who was walking from Brisbane to Melbourne and then over to tasmania Both Miles and I were so jealous as he was taking the scenic coastal route, and didn't care how long it took. All he had was a trolley, bag, tent mat and the Herald. (he did have a little map) He was soooo interesting. enthralled Miles with his theories of why humans are intelligent, told us about different places and generally talked science stuff too. I could have lost my youngest child to the road at that moment. Poss. is lucky we came home for lunch. My bone. Near where we live is a wetland they want to develop into a Marina. It is so abundant in wildlife, and is a special place for the local tribe. They have lived there for thousands of years. there are middens everywhere. The locals support this as noone really wants a marina. When enough was enough, they put up camp down behind the beach. That was hard enough, with everyone trying to maintain there normal lives , look after the families and the camp. The council never believed or rather, tried to hide the fact that there were artifacts down there that proved habitation. One day when the guyswere out away from the camp, the council sent in a bulldozer and destroyed everthing. The council have now erected no camping signs , but have also destroyed trees and land in general preparing for when they dig the whole lot up. My bone - don't know if its human or not. but I found it quite a few years ago then reburied it. Always bury it back in the sand hill where it popped up, but i think its bad luck to remove it. its really old, but broken, and about 25cm long. The guys who camped down there said there were bones there too. it prob sounds silly, but I'm amazed that i can find it straight away. My story for the day, yawning yet? love Yvette
