Hellooo all Did I read on this thread the other day that there were nekkid peeps here? Well - I qualify. I've just had my hair cut and it's quite short - so I'm feeling nekkid! I guess I'll get used to it! Wishing all those going to the mini meet tomorrow at the coast a wondeful time. Wish I could be there but Katherine is performing at a lunch time concert at the Uni so can't miss that. Lara - hope Tiger is not too sore and sorry for himself. It will be you that gets driven mad with all the 'Get me this' Get me that' 'Scratch my back' 'Peel me a grape.....' Don't tell Tony but men are terrible invalids! hi jill and jood, I get tired coz i'm not used to waking with an alarm. That means if I set it for 4.30 I wake up at 2.30, 3.30 and then before it goes off. I'm too scared i'll sleep in so, i set it for a bit until i'm sure I'll wake up. think i should be right now. Had a lttle snooze on the the lounge, starting to feel like one of the 7 dwarfs (golly I love a bloke with short legs. lol) I am put to shame by you lot, honestly, I am astounded by your energy. This mini meet at the GC sounds fine!! however, I have some people that need to see me tomorrow. They haven't done any weights for 3 weeks no, so they will be having DTs by now. Have a mega good time. ooh, thoughts for Tiger today, does he know the power of the wattle goes with him? got a wedding next week, sadly not mine, but might need to steal a dress design from the flashy boutique down the street. love ya Yvette x

Hi All, Lara hope everything goes okay with Tiger's op today. Talked to Ducky yesterday told her about all the lovely songs and poems you all had posted, she said she will take a look. Dont seem to be able to get it anywhere except in cases of 6 with $11.95 postage from mail order places. .. But will give yours a go and give my umble opinion. Good Morning Wattlers, I can't believe how long it takes to catch up...i promised myself i would NOT leave days between coming here. But i havn't been home, or near a computer. We hada 50th Bday to go to and guess who decided to save money and sleep in he back of the ute? .....Yep, don't really recomend it...especially if it looks like rain...OH and i are the only two people in australia who could get rained on in a drought lol. I am looking forward to the Bendigo mini meet. Will be nice to catch up with some wattlers. How many peeps are going to be there? and where are we meeting? Bendigo is having another family history day in March, same as last year, if anyone is interested in going. If you are searching for ancestors who settled in this part of Victoria, it is not a bad opportunity to get some help. Lara and I met up and went last year. On the subject of dinners (I know it was last night) we had Wobigong (not sure if spelling is right) Shark first time we have had it and was very nice, with a salad fresh from the garden. I was so excited this morning to get a GR contact from a person conected to my Cock tree, have had others but not linked, this one is a definite, so have emailed back and awaiting answer, first link since joining GR with this family. Only Genies would understand excitment when this happens. Also on the genie front I am meeting a lady at the end of the month who lives in WA and will be passing through the Gong, we share the same 3xgrt grandfather, her branch came to Aus in 1910, thats on my mothers line. Just sat down for a min to rest my sore back (some excuse!) - and catch up on the mornings happenings! Tassy, it really was fun trying to boost the numbers up for Fanny, but you never really know who is actually going to get the big one. .. You sort of surface and say 'who won' lol .. It was just a silly bit of madness late at night! (and no, I hadn't been drinking ! lol) Hz the little break away from home sounds good, even if its up the road. G’day all, Got to last Friday night I was plum tuckered out so have given myself permission to be slack at home and at work, sleeping in, not going to gym, easy meals, trying to get OH to do the same. Finally this morning I am slightly perkier but still didn’t get up till 7 am. Might get to Curves later today and kickstart the old bod again. Gave OH the lecture – he wanted to know why DD has to spends all her spare time on the computer, I explained all her friends are away on holidays, she’s seen every movie, we are at work or asleep, what exactly does he expect her to do, play tiddlywinks? As it is she plays solitaire on the ‘puta!! Then I threatened to buy an plane ticket for she and I to go on holiday. He saw my point and so we are now booked in at the Hume Weir Resort for four nights next week, the water slide is running and they have a spa pool, we can self cater or go over to the restaurant and DD can have different friends each night if she wishes. As it’s only 15 mins away we still take turns to come to work, and can feed the cat at home! At least we feel as though we are having a holiday. Shaz welcome back, we are in the same position re lappy, I’m able to use mine but I can’t get my emails yet. My computer whiz friend will fix it when he gets back from holidays. Meanwhile I culled the inbox last night maybe some are bouncing, thanks everyone for jokes, NYr messages etc!! At the end of your trip when you come in to Bluff, up on the hilltop is the Cemetery with all OH’s Preston rellies – grandparents, great aunts and uncles, give them a wave. Just along the beach further is Oreti Beach where Bert Munro tested his Indian Scout motorcycle (The World’s Fastest Indian with Antony Hopkins). You won’t see much of Invercargill ‘cos you fly out straight away, but it is a very attractive city, big wide streets and lovely Parks and Gardens. Jood, got your note, will follow up this week now I have been reminded ( yes I did forget!) The courthouse is being renovated at the moment, during Xmas week we had jackhammers starting at 7am! They are making it like Fort Knox so the terrorists can’t do any harm lol! Pam , you just get out there and admire those beautiful Glasshouse Mountains on your doorstep, have faith, nature will heal your heart in time (((hugs))) Wonder how Vonny is going, cooking baked beans and sausages for 150 kids LOL! Morning All Now that I have caught up on happenings of the last day, Butter having to share the puta's with 4 others all day :-((( and on sunday it will be a matter of sharing with 6 others as my girls come home Sunday night. Good evening Wattlers. . . as per the norm . . . I only get to come online when everyone else is off to bed! Silly blighters we are . . . woke this morning with the great idea to clean out the bush house . . . 2 trailer loads to the dump later it is looking rather spiffy and we are plum tuckered!!! We did build a rack for the old roofing iron and store that away too . . . kept it because son wanted it . . . but I guess we will be the storeage yard until he gets around to coming for it. We have a trailer load to go into Beaudesert to Vinnys tomorrow . . . getting rid of furniture that sons had in various flats through the years and then left it in our garage when they had no use for it. Finally we will have some space for ourselves in the shed!!!! Some nice dinners around . . . I just threw a couple of pieces of steak in the oven with the veges and we had a braise . . very tasty and lots of veges (easy too - teehee) Well who will be at the mini meet for lunch on Wednesday ???? I have asked Deirde and Libby - but they are both unable to come this time. Know the Queen and the Duckers will be there . . Oh and Jill your coming too aren't you ??? Think I will be flying solo as TLR hasn't had a chance as yet to drop in on friends at a paint store down the coast and will take the opportunity while we are at the Casino. Welcome back Shaz.
