Good evening Folks, Phew . . . deep breath . . . What an afternoon . . . Opened a bottle of bubbles again to celebrate with Flakes and Roy, and some other good news. I have been waiting for a phone call from Singapore all afternoon . . . waiting waiting . . her mobile was turned off so I started to worry more . . then We're going to be Unkle Way & Aunty Lolly again . . . friend from Jakarta, Marg (who was here with her two little boys before Christmas) has safely reached the point where we can all get excited now after two failed starts and many doctors saying it wouldn't happen! Marg even thought she was just 10 weeks . . . and the doctor says more like 14. Ah Jill, I can imagine how excited you are . . . have a ball girl. Good idea . . . get on Le Bus and have the grand tour . . . 2 day pass . . . then do the on off bit the next day! Well that had been our intention on our first day in Paris, but the urge to get off and get up close and personal to all the wonderful sights won us over and wore us out. Biggest disappointment about Paris was ran out of days and needed a 2nd day at the Louve to see everything (Still can't understand why the most advertised thing about the Louve is the glass pyramid . . . the other buildings in the quadrangle are amazing) Tony, your trip with dau #1 sounded so much fun . . . so . . .I just went to Luxor meself . . . so I knew where you'd been . . did you drop them lollie papers ?? Yes Merle, know what you mean about our pets . . . hurts like crazy to loose them . . . but better to have loved 'em and lost 'em then never to have had then in our lives. Not sure if Jood started her trip back to Sydney this morning or not, but I seem to recall her saying the kids go back to school and I hit the road, and I think the kids were going back to school today. Haven't heard from her, but if its tomorrow that you leave safe journey Jood - if your on the road . . . naughty girl !! no sms !!! Oh Merle - your are a cheeky blighter . . . big hugs to you and hopeing the right royal pain in the knee gets better soon. You take it easy, no more fallies . . . dont want you doing any more damage. Well I am out of here . . . just had a few more ideas of google trips . . see you on my return nigh nite - sleep well - sweet dreams luv Laurie |

Congrats on your Impending retirement. Soon you'll wonder how you ever fitted work in.In answer to your question Jill, himself is holding his own.All he can do with it these days!! His bad days are gradually overtaking the good days but he's still cheerful and cheeky as ever. My leg is free from infection, my knee is a right royal pain in the--------Knee I spose. Had another fall today but no harm done except to my pride. We've tried very hard to entice our fluffy duck back to no avail so far but we'll wear her down in the end, won't we fluff? Enough rambling, gotta go keep himself company for a while so goodnight to you all with love and healing hugz to all. Me |

Hi folkses, have been very lazy today. another no sleep job Had milo at 3-30 am and fell asleep after that till 8 Well, I think you all should have the pickle from me today with maybe tony and Lew being the exception. Forgot the big O ad I couldn't read Lews so will you send it please someone. If I missed anyone please let me know, cos I only sent to the ones I knew on the list. Our wee doggy is a female. Parents were maltese/silky cross, father a chuahua/silky cross and the most placid and loving little dog one could ever wish to have. Casey follows in her fathers footsteps. She was 14 on the 9th of Jan. Her hearts not the best at times and her teeth are falling out one at a time but we've decided to let nature take its course without interference unless absolutely have to . I can tell you it will be a very wet day in Spencer pk when she dies. Why do we get so attached to our animiles. Of course she is quite convinced she is a people. |

Evening Peeps....:>)) Flakey. Congrats to you and Roy, mate. Happy retirement...:>)) Jillaroo. Have a great trip to the U.K ps. If your transfering to another flight at Heathrowe ( B.A ) double check that they transfer ya luggage too. Lost ours when we transfered to Edinburgh ( Scotland ) Our luggage did turn up the next day, but a lot of ringing and mucking about, after a long flight. Been on the phone for 2hrs with eldest daughter, as she had downloaded Google Earth on her pc. We were both sitting at our puters and checking out the world. I said to her, lets go to Luxor, Egypt, and check out 'The Valley of the Kings' as she has a great love for anything Egyptian, like mysef. So we both typed in 'Luxor, Egypt' on our putors, and hit enter. As the world spun around and started to pan in on Egypt.......my daughter said to me: Daaaaaaad!!!!!!!!! are we there yet..? ..hee hee Just like she used to do sitting in the back of the car when she was a little girl, on long holidays.....lol She had me in stiches, laughing......Daaaaad!!!!!!! i wanna go to the loo.....lol She has her ol mans sense of humour...me thinks....:>)) Joke: A couple in their nineties, are both having problems remembering things. During a checkup, the doctor tells them that they're physically okay, but they might want to start writing things down to help them remember. Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair. 'Want anything while I'm in the kitchen?' he asks. 'Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?' 'Sure.' 'Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?' she asks. 'No, I can remember it.' 'Well, I'd like some strawberries on top, too. Maybe you should write it down, so's not to forget it?' He says, 'I can remember that. You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries.' 'I'd also like whipped cream. I'm certain you'll forget that, write it down?' she asks. Irritated, he says, 'I don't need to write it down, I can remember it! Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream - I got it, for goodness sake!' Then he toddles into the kitchen. After about 20 minutes, the old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife a plate of bacon and eggs. She stares at the plate for a moment. 'Where's my toast?' Av a good un. Tony Oz...:>))) |

Hi Wattlers, we did it, business is no longer ours.....yea, although I think it is going to be a bit harder for Roy watching something you created being run by someone else. We have our first cheque, just need to pay our bills and drag in the monies owing...could take a few weeks, but it will be worth it. Off to celebrate, catch you all tomorrow Retired Flake...lol |

Wow Jilly I could be your porter - carry your tea bags etc! Don't worry about jet lag - we arrived at Heathrow at 3.30am, got a London taxi to our accommodation where we left our bags in security as we were too early to get into our room. Then we caught one of those double decker sight seeing London buses and drove around London all day - we were tired by night time I can tell you. But at least we slept and by next day we were back to normal. Talk to you before you go but hope you have a ball. X Anna |

All bits crossed for you today, Flakes. I'm sure it will all proceed okay. As for Wattie, I have discovered that some of his relatives live in the Arctic Circle and apparently he is immune to the cold. I think there's a bit of polar blood in him, lol Good one Duck! I've sent it to all me mates in the USA, as they're the ones obsessed with boobs, etc. HRH Dr Ice Printheth |

Here I am, Anna. The Ice Printheth cometh, lol. I've been lurking in the background, as there has been plenty to do upon my return. Terry also invited guests over for dinner last night!!!!! You'd think he'd have given me one day's break, lol To Our Wonderful Queen Trifles and her fantastic family, well done. You've made it and now for your reward - the Mudgee Meet, pmsl. I've sent more pickles this morning of our Wattie in the snow. He is a very brave bear, that's for sure. Tony, your poems are just brilliant. We expect more at the MM. Good luck to all the Wattler kids going back to school today, particularly Katherine entering Year 12 and for her job. Fingers crossed. That Tiger must be keeping you on your toes, Lara. Don't pamper him too much, he'll learn to expect it, lol Had a sleep in this morning, so had better go and get some brunch. ~~~to all~~~ HRH Dr Ice Printheth |
