Not really Tony. Last year we got a couple of days of snow but not much and more often than not when it does snow it usually happens just before or after christmas, not on the day itself. Scotland is probably your best bet for snow at christmas in the UK.

Julie. Does it snow much in winter where you are. Would love to see a White Christmas in the U.K. Think Christmas in Oz will be a scorcher this year....:>((( Tony Oz...:>))

Have to admit I prefer the warmer weather although not too hot but I also like the changing seasons cos I get bored with one type of weather all the time. I don't like it too cold though so Jan and Feb are my worse months cos christmas and new year are over and it seems cold and miserable then.

Jill. Best wishes for your boy, also. Hope everything turns out o'k. Mary. Hope you have a great time. Dunolly is such a beautiful town.Poulation i think is about 600?..... A far cry from the Gold rush era of the 1800s with a Population of about 35,000 miners The daddy of them all was the Welcome Stranger nugget unearthed at Bulldog Gully, in 1869 by John Deason and Richard Oates, containing 70kg of pure gold. Now Lara....thats what i call a 'hunka hunka'....never mind about Jood's fireies.....LOL Imagine finding something like that nowdays.....and if ya do Mary,........hee hee.....dont ferget ya mates. A kg of yellow stuff would go down really well right now. Dont know if the Anvil is still there, outside the museum, that they cut the nugget on, but we stopped there on our way to Tarnagulla to have a look at it a few years back now.Have a great walk with the detector, and hope you pick up a few 'beep beeps' under the ground. 'Thar still be gold in tham thar hills'...:>)))) Hope everyones had a nice day, and best wishes to all who are not feeling the best. Catch ya ron. Afternoon all. Just returned from the 'sickies' and I'm glad to say they are a bit better today. Although Mia and her daddy aren't eating much and her daddy is doing a fair immitation of a scarecrow!! Health care nurse was there checking up on bubby and she got a big tick so D is very happy. D has also lost weight but she doesn't mind! - as long as she can feed bubby of course. Got to do some h......k around this place as it is a disaster area since the weekend away. Bye the bye, are the REST of us having a party too!!!! *gets ready to pout and chuck a tanty if we aren't* :) ~~~~~~~~~ Vonny

Hi everyone, I've just spent the last hour or so catching up, I should have made notes but was so interested in what I was reading I forgot, so now I have to try and remember things. Vonny I'm glad you had a lovely trip but so sorry about the accident to the car and lots of well wishes to your family I hope they are begining to improve. Heather I bet you are still talking non stop to your daughter, I got the impression she had a great time. Send me pickles please Gwenda if it's not to late, I'd love to see them. Great news Donna, If you see what I mean, you sounded so relieved, get well soon. Talking about results has anyone heard how Cilla is? SuzyQ I hope you are on the mend also, the aftermath of a cold can be just as bad as the cold itself. My silly boy has landed himself in hospital with a urinary tract infection. Suppose to come home today but his temperature keeps going up and down so he may be allowed out tomorrow. This is the fourth time he's had this infection so the doctor want's him to have his prostate sorted out, bit of a worry. Have to go as I'm off to the hospital again, will pop in when I can. love to you all, Jillx
