It was before the dollar And before the Pill I went to this rock dance - in Swan Hill I arrived in me E.K - hair slicked back And I saw his sheila in tangerine socks, hair pitch black And she walked right by me. . . And she said. . . CHORUS: 'You wanna boogie with m' baby? You wanna move with m' baby? You wanna groove with m' baby?' Well I strolled across the dance floor Loves fool And I looked her right in the eye Real cool And I said...nuffin'!!! And she said CHORUS Well I didn't let her go She wasn't real rough And no-one else came near 'er 'Cause I was too tough And the band was called Curly and The Cocky Stranglers - or somethin' And they weren't real bad either And you wouldn't want to know what they're playing. . . CHORUS Well, me and Christine, we got on O.K So I took her home, in my E.K She's chewin' on Juicy Fruit I'm chewin' on P.K Got one hand on the wheel 'n' arm around her neck The other hand goin' down - and turnin' on the radio They're playing our favourite song. . . CHORUS :>)))))) x

can we have a piccie of the bifocals? the mind boggles you'll have to look for jood on a 'game' thread. Sue , I don't know about you , but it always has me beat how people can justify fireworks when there is threat of bushfire. also the cost of a fireworks display could be better spent elsewhere... just my view. yvette x

Evening Wattlers Well we have had another nice day for the show, not many fires up our way, but most that are burning down Hobart way are getting under control now. The girls, OH and myself just went out on our verandah and watched the fireworks they let off for the show, we get a birds eye view of it which is good as it is the same place they let off New Years Eve fireworks. Bev welcome to the best thread on this site, you may have seen me on the other one a couple of times. Trifley hope you are having a great time with all your visitors. ((((((hugs)))))) for Pam if you are looking in. Everyone who is meeting in Vic for our birthday have a great time and we want pics also expecting a special delivery in the mail of a bit of the Birthday cake lol. Cheers Sue

Dear jood, thankyou for the pie and cream and icecream. it looks like the serving could feed the entire table. work was good. when the weather is fine the roller doors along the side of the building are up. Came home and knocked off the last of Ellis' beers. 'bout time i returned the favour. Shazz the time i declined lunch due to weather was in the winter when it was peeing down, not yesterday. I'se love to come to to narellan if its on a Wednesday or Thursday, hey sandra we can continue yakking where we left off. Possum might even have a new car by then and let me drive it. The ovlov is quite capable however.(thank goodness for that)so jood choose the appropriate wed/thurs. at the start of Decemeber - your choice. (((((((pam))))))) Bev, give the other stuff the flick, we have much better fun here. We've got the direct link to the mother land via our darling cat, a few bits of royalty and some really down to earth caring serfs. one bloke still does family history so long as his fair mrs keeps up the vb tabs. theres naughty pills and naughty peeps. just don't read the other stuff, Trifley is good on keeping us on the straight and narrow ...boy i should get a fee for that... consider love Yvette xxx

She did say that (the waitress) - did I want it warmed up or not - and I asked her which way was the best, she said warmed up - with icecream and cream - I whispered 'warmed up' & nodded my head & smiled (wink wink), but I had no idea it would be as big as it was - on a dinner plate would you believe! But I am guilty has hell :( .. and it was b*****y nice too! Jood

Hello everyone , Pam our dear Fluffy do hope you and yours are all doing ok our love is with you . Suzyq I won't be going to Kakoda barracks Mike was stationed there before they were sent to Townsville about 15 years ago he took Joshua up there to have alook at the plce and he was saying how easy it was he just told the guard on the gate that he wanted to show his young bloke where he was and they just let him and Josh wander around on their own he said he hopes the security has been upgraded now. We are staying at the Beachcomber Time Share place so if you can get there I would love to meet you too I will send you my mobile no and the dates we will be free of ok we arrive up there on the 26th of october but are busy till the Sunday night with reunion stuff. Had a friend here for lunch today and it's really funny she is doing her tree and she is not real savvy on the putor she didn't know she could get on BDM NSW and have look with out paying so I took her on there and we had all look and ended up breaking down her brick wall as she didn't know a member of her family was married three times and couldn't get any info of the grand daughters of the particular family member there was names associated with the woman that she didn't know where they came from well they were there three blokes she was married too hehe Also my friend has another Mystery her hubbies family came from Barbados the main man she is trying to find out how he got here is William Thomas Wiles so if anybody sees this name on shipping lists please give me ahoy , she said after searching for ages on the passenger lists some one told her that a lot of the people who came from there were not put on the passenger list as they were picked up and payed cash for the trip and the owner of the ship didn't ever know, the captain then kept the cash William Thomas Wiles arrived in WA in about 1855. have to go as having my friend here was lovely but need to pack to go to Melbourne nigh nite all love Lara
