Morning Wattlers. A beautiful sunny morning in Mulbern, and warming up over the next day or so. Thanks for the fun night and joining in on the Quiz. The answers were interesting, and i surpose there could have been multiple answers to a few questions. Will put up another one on Genealogy next time. Merle. Welcome to the Wattlers thread. Hi Joy ( Cuz )Always nice to see you drop in for a Waffle. Sorry...there are no sane people on the Wattlers thread. Actually, one might say, there are no sane people in Oz....thats why we live here. Nobody cares, and most of us prefer it that way...hee hee A. is for Australia, a land of sweeping plains U. is for United in which we Ozzies stand. S. is for the Southern States, the opposite of North T. is for the Territory, and A.C.T of course. R. is for the rest of it,the East Coast and the West A. is for the Aussie folk wot makes up all the rest. L. is for the Larakin in which we have a few I. is for this Island, including Tassie too...:>)) A. is also 'Av a go'...what built this great Country N. ow C'mon over and visit us,for we are young and free. Author Tony Oz...:>))) lol Julie Cat.Sorry mate, but your answer to no.37 (37. Don’t know but his sandwiches must have got squashed ).....kinda lost it for you.....lol Best wishes to all the sickies. Av a good un. Tony Oz.....:>))

Morning Wattlers, Not a good one, I was hoping we might get a win. It looks like we may have to get a new water heater. Our pump keeps coming on and Neville went to look, the water heater has developed some kind of leak. B**********r. On top of that, because of it we have been losing water from the tank. Go on, I am guessing the Princesses are saying it serves me right for being so sulky. Promise I won't whinge any more. ( fingers crossed behind my back ) Didn't do to bad in the quiz for a migrant. Think I would have passed the test, for my citizenship. What am I talking about, I did pass the test and I have a certificate to prove it. Welcome John and Merle. Don't know where everyone gets the idea we are all mad, I think we are all normal. The best group of people you would ever get together in one place. Merle I am in South East Qld. Back, after discussing the water heater. Neville has just gone to Bunnings to buy a new one. Electrician all lined up, am hoping the plumber can get here today. He's a mate so fingers crossed. Gotta go, catch up later Luv SuzyQ

Good morning Wafflers . . a bit chilly here this morning on the Bay too! Fresh wind is a blowing, and the sun is trying hard to come through a cover of empty looking clouds. So far this morning we have had 2 ships leaving and three arriving, so the little men on the pilot boats have been kept busy. Three giraffe with outstretched necks . . I get the impression they are trying to see if there is any rain in them there clouds. Bazza has taken his pole down on to the beach . . . thats a fishing pole for those that thought other things . . to see if he can catch me a nice fish for dinner. He found my cd collection early this morning and I awoke to the sound of 'Walk like and Egyptian . . . ' And clean windows, apparently he likes clean windows - so that is going to be handy with all the salty sea air and the pollution from the airport and traffic that builds up so quickly here on the glass. We wont go far from the tellie today, TLR will be wishing he were up home so he could be down watching the race - just have to settle for it on the tellie. Well I must go check how the hunter and gatherer is going on the beach. luv Laurie

Morning Cilla, at least you're warmer than us. But it is sunny :) No rain though.:( Thanks for the update. Several peeps were asking how you were. Hi Merle, welcome to the Wattlers. Lovely to see you but are you sure you read the fine print??? They're all mad you know!! Definitely nice but most of them are a sheep short in the top paddock. Gwenda, JA and myself are all perfectly sane, of course :) Waggy - special welcome to yourself also. Brave man you are, but Tony will be so pleased to see you. We need some balance on the thread :) ~~~~~~~~~~ to all. have a great day Vonny

Morning all Just popped in to let you know that we still don't have an answer to what is wrong with me,we went to Townsville on Wed to see the neurologist & he doesn't know so it is back to having more tests, he wants me to have another MRI on a different machine as the one I had the last one on doesn't have good pictures Which is a bit rough as it cost us $250 & no rebate at least the next one is free. I also have to have a nerve conduction test & a EEG plus he has thrown a couple of more tests in for good measure. All these are getting done on 8/11 & I have to go back to Townsville on the 15th. We just want some answers but he has ruled out a few things it isn't MS,Stroke,Parkinsons & he doesn't think that is is Chronic fatigue. I am sorry that I missed Tony's quiz it looks like you all had fun maybe I will catch the next one. I get packed off to bed early these days as I am so very tired & if I don't have a granny nap through the day I can't stay awake at night. Will talk to you all soon Luv Cilla

Hey Tony...how about some time-adjustment for chronologically -disadvantaged Aussies? I haven't even turned into a pumpkin and the game is already over!!! And I'm not naughty, Shaz, and I am, too, a lady, even when I'm being adjustable. I suppose you lot have all shut up shop again so I'm talking to myself. G'day John...nice to meet a cobber of Shaz .Hang around after hours and you can chat me up.
