Good morning Wattlers . . . See your all in fine form this morning . . . the pills not worn off yet ???? The sun is out here on Botany Bay, but it is still a wee bit chilly . . if you can find a spot in the sun without the cool breeze your laughing, but not too many of those places to be found. There is not a single giraffe with its head up this morning, all busy little things, loading or unloading the ships at Port Botany. A couple of little specks out near the heads, which are little runabouts seeking the catch of the day. Speaking of catch of the day . . . Bazza only managed two littlies that had to be thrown back, but he sure caused a bit of interest on the beach. He is doing the h***k now, cleaning the bathroom . . . think he likes the smell of Bleach! GR still has the message up for me to 'renew now' . . . I will be one angry ant if they cut me off at the quick . . . I dotted the i's and crossed the t's Gwenda . . . shame on you . . trying to scare poor Jeff away !!! Get back in your cage !!!!! I wouldn't have used the word regular in regard to our mate . . . but he is certainly predictable (at being unpredictable) Have visions of Lara chasing the poor postie down the street . . . Well I have heaps of ideas now for food for the Wednesday 'Morning Tea in the Pink' TLR is having at work so best get ready to go buy the supplys . . . promised Bazza he could push the trolley! Have a lovely day all . . . Thinking of you both Pam & Oh Great Queen, . . . To you both . . . just do it your way and get back when you can (((hugs))) luv Laurie (Princess of the Nile) pppppppp . . . . btw just remember . . . I had the title bestowed upon me by the Queen herself !!!! So THERE !!!!

Has anyone got a lock for the Cat door,, just for when the numbers are comming up.lol or perhaps we could put the food outside for her just then and she will be to busy scoffing her face to notice..he.he. Really love you Cat, You brighten my day.Is it cold in the Old Country yet, and is the overcoat out of the clossett..... we are so lucky here in Sydney as we dont wear such things. Good Morning Wattlers. Lovely poem Pam, but we wouldn't expect anything else from you. How long will Mel be staying? Trifles, you're very quiet. The brothers aren't giving you any trouble are they? One of these days, Cat, you're going to cop it! Poor Yvette was doing such a good job. Okay, I'm off to get some brekky Seeya Lew Lew xxx

Morning Wattlers Hi Waggy - drop in anytime. In answer to one of your comments 'yes we do too' think you'll know what I'm referring to. Knew I'd get a reaction from Tony over that photo Well....... this confirms it all. I mean........just look at the sign above my surname Hull. 'Hull The Earl of Sussex '..................................................................................................................Pub I just knew we had royal blood,............. just got me Essex,Sussex bit mixed up....:>))) Good grief we'll never hear the end of it now - what with royal personages of the female variety and now an 'earl' us serfs will just have to stick together. I for one will not be 'tugging me forelock' so there - pppppppp Lovely sunny day here and no wind so we should have a warmer day than the last couple. Best shake a leg and get on with things. Catch y'all later Gwenda PS Fanny - that naughty cat always lurking - we need a stronger cat flap me thinks PPS Jood - were you saying I look good behind bars!!!! - lol

Hi Wattlers, Nice of you to make me feel so welcome, and I'm sure I'll pick up the Aussie language bit by bit. One thing I've come across a few times which I haven't figured out is 'pmsl' and 'ppppp'. Sorry that's two things. Are they Aussie or computer? Mary in Sydney, you reckon you Aussies lead a far more relaxed lifestyle than us Brits. I'm sure you're right about that, but you haven't got George Bush's poodle for a PM, have you? It's about time I turned in, as you are all getting up. It's already tomorrow where you are, isn't it? Good night (or good morning), Waggy

Awwwww I was soooo disappointed Fanny, that the 'blasted' .. (as Lew would say) .. cat took your number (I was nearly gonna delete a message or two so you could have the number :( .. I guess I shouldn't have told everyone to look out for it - I knew she'd be hiding there. Tony - the bbq was called off (and yes Mary) - the weather was far too cold and windy - it was to be held in a park. .. I'm glad we didn't have to go. .. As I said, we caught the ferry over to Palm Beach, and went to the Rissole Club for lunch and donate some money to said Club. Mary - went to some great markets up there, I think it was at Ettalong. Bag very heavy to carry home!! Fanny, I loved your A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A words, pity Cat spoilt it :( Jood

Evening wattlers Where has the day gone to? Been gardening so will probably have a few sore muscles tomorrow. Fluff - so lovely to see you back on the thread - and what a lovely poem. Here's a few extra hugs to keep you going. (((((((hugs))))))) Trifley - haven't seen you around. Hope you're not too icky. Sending ((((((hugs)))))) your way also. Tony - thanks for the quiz - it was a lot of fun and got the brain cells working overtime. Looking forward to the next one. And Tony and Mary - loved your poems. That cat should have been drowned at birth. Naughty naughty pussycat. Thanks for the pickles Gwenda - gives me the travel bug. I'm off to watch a program on dementia - have to be aware of the signs to watch out for. LOL Catch you all tomorrow XX Anna
