We have Londonderry (combination of two - one from England, one from Ireland) - we have Koroit (which must be Irish, as they were potato farmers, the residents) Ascot, Randwick, Balmoral, Paddington. .. There could be heaps more, but I don't know all the English towns to compare Jood |

Hi all, Been tryin to catch up, takes a while when you’ve not looked in for a whole day, but I did notice a mention from the Cat about going to Liverpool. Is there a Liverpool in Oz, or is cat a fellow pom? Reason I ask is Jood was wondering where my loyalties lie, and I wondered why. We’re all Wattlers, aren’t we? And I love cats, wherever they come from. Waggy |

I'll never ask a pom to name England's oldest town - OH was a great disappointment again - knew he wouldn't know anything genealogical but obviously left school a long time ago and his memory only went back as far as the Romans - lol Another great quiz Tony and I've learnt some more things - gosh the old brain will be overloaded if I keep this up. Nite nite all - about to lose an hour's sleep so I'd better hit the sack so I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed for work in the morning. Gwenda |
