Afternoon Wattlers . . . Not having much luck with my connection today - keeps dropping off. Did lots of Mousework yesterday, cleared files, defraggled, decookied, deleted heaps . . . then upgraded to AVG 7.5 and today the poor thing is slow as a wet weak and not very sticky in the conection department. Think the old ewe will be happier with some more rams in the top paddock !! The Queen and her entourage will be heading down the mountain today - bound for the family castle, which hopefully the crown prince has had cleaned up after any possible royal batchelor party. Safe trip D & G ! If your interested in such thing girls - for you lunch on 7th Dec . . . Many years ago, my most wonderfulest brother-in-law Rod, sat with me in the little park opp Central railway station (on Eddie Ave) and told me tales of during the war, the station being a major connection point in military personel movements. Since he died 4yrs ago, every time I go to the city if I am in the area - I grab a coffee and sit there - watch the people, remember the stories, and admire the beautiful buildings. Last time there it was raining and I found a little caf on the ground floor of the station building, and sat among the beautiful old stone arches and admired it all from a different perspective. It was nice fresh caf food salads and the like - just food for thought if you were looking for something closer to the railway. Culling the cupboards Jood . . . I'm good at that - and good at putting it all back the next day too! Have a loovly time with Lucas tomorrow . . such delightful age . . !! Did you have a look on the weekender at the pickle Printheth sister ?? Teeheee . . . the lighting is just right dont you think ?? Well we had a late BBQ brunch - on the balcoonie - wearing jackets !! and have a roast to do for an early dinner this evening, so off to do some soaking of the meat in plonk and dried grasses. Have a nice cosy afternoon all . . . luv Laurie |

Isn't that what you normally do Lew Lew, as well as swim and read and cuddle babies?? Me, I've been tossing out scarves, hats and bags (but will be happier when they are all actually out of the house) .. Gee I feel virtuous (just don't let me look at them again or I'll change my mind ! lol) What you all doing for the Melbourne Cup? - I'm going to a luncheon, but helping rather than indulging. .. Have to help run the sweeps, and serve up lunch .. :(( I'm babysitting Lucas for 4 hrs tomorrow while Mum goes to a diabetes clinic. .. Last I heard, he was up on all 4's and falling over - probably crawling all over the place now. .. He's not quite 7 months. Back to work - start on the tee shirts now. Jood |

just haven't been on the computer. Poss has got his sore eye back again. went to the medical centre yesterday, went to casualty today. the only thing that will help it has to be prescribed by the eye specialist , that he can only access today in Sydney Eye Hospital or wait and hopefully get an appointment with his specialist during the week _ if he's back. not a happy possum. have taken the dogs down the lagoon for a sniff, done a bit of washing and yakked to a friend on the phone. going out for a walk to bil's who's also in the wars, to rescue poss.'s sunnies and deliver some flyers for my weights classes. that will pretty much tie up the day. suprising how well things happen without the hangover. love Yvette x |

I'm going to bed, I can't stay awake too much longer. It will be lovely if a few of us can get together - and sydney is such a wonderful place to be. There is a while to go, hopefully Thursday 7th December is a convenient day. The southcoast train gets in at 10.47 and 11.16 am. The next day poss and i will be going back up for our weekend, which i am really looking forward to, although he refuses to catch the train. Tony and Marian, some of my family come from the same places. My brickwall is a *add too but Gadd. I have found that on the census, the relos don't always admit to where they are born, only where they happen to be living at the time. If you are looking in Julie :-) love to all the travellers, the visitors and everyone else. yvette x |

Joy.(Cuz ) What a great bit of Family History. See......you do have Ozzie Relo's. Joy and myself share the surname SADD. My G,G,G,Grandmother was Susan SADD bapt. 22nd June 1756 Earls Colne in Essex. Her father was Thomas SADD c.1739 but birth place not known as yet...Joy's G,G,G,Grandmother is Sarah SADD........and both Counties are neighbours.....soooooo because of the unusual way it is spelt ( SADD ) DD instead of one D...we could be related through Cousins???..soo best i adopt Joy and make it legal x I cant find where Thomas was born....so Its quite a SADD story really...lol Have a great day..Joy ( Cuz ) Tony Oz....:>))))) |
