Hello Wattlers We had a wonderful holiday......any more relaxed and I'd be asleep...hee hee The only amazing thing was the rain in Toowoomba. It was pppppping down! Anna and Chris were overjoyed as their garden got a good drink. They were the most fabulous hosts.....a lovely meal on Friday night and a grand tour of their wonderful town on Saturday. It is a bewdiful place....anyone looking for a place to visit could do worse than go to Toowoomba. A big hug to you all....hope I haven't missed any birthdays or anniversaries. Catch you all after dinner. love Trifley X |

its still raining - its gotten gradually heavier during the day. my line of dry washing is now wet, but i don't care. came back from my walk wet & christened the new brolly. apologies for neglecting WA wishes yesterday Glenda, wishing you stacks more happy ones too. The inner city places sound great Laurie. sydney is such an interesting place with its buldings and parks and all kinds of people.- i am always a tourist there, I love it. I had another sleep this afternoon, gee I've been getting my fair share of those. Sydney sounds OK in January, but will have to confirm later on. If you choose a date i'll stick it on the planner. Poor Poss. has a lesion on his cornea. it started with an abrasion, then the last time it flared up it was something else that irritated the same spot. The doctor said there is a definite mark there. He's just hoping he can get an appointment tomorrow. silly bum, we should have just gone to sydney today. off to eat the rest of my tea. love Yvette x |

Sal, not sure if I have met Rod or not - I did meet a few Perth people last year. I won't be here from 15 Dec - 4 Jan, and am off again on the 15, would love to have a meet in January between 4 & 15 though. .. I'm getting in early before someone else makes a day when I'm away !!! .. I haven't met Flutters, but have seen her pic. .. When will she be here? We are having lunch in the city on 7 December - we don't know where yet. .. You are quite welcome to join us. .. We will meet at Central as most of us coming by train from one place or another. Gwenda it will take me months to declutter this place - it must be the cold weather that is egging me on today - but I'm not consistent - I've gone from shoes to bags to clothes to papers to family history on computer to Money program on pc to shifting stuff from one box to a smaller one!!!! I stocked up on my grog supply yesterday Gwenda, so party time tonight (that means one glass of something) lol Jood |

Hi all, gee it has been quiet today - hi to Sal - pop in anytime - it's always pleasant here. Thank you to everyone for their wishes on our WA yesterday - I got a new teddy bear - don't know where he's going yet as I still haven't found homes for the ones I bought o/s. Thank you JulieCat and JA for your cards too. Jood - when you finish your cupboards come and do mine please - lol. Just wish I could get enthused about tidying up as my feng shui is definitely in need of some help. Moving house would be a simple solution but not going to happen. Daughter is cooking tea tonight - just as well as I'm not in the mood - another stressful day at work - did look at chocolate before I left but then decided that wouldn't help either - might have a stiff Southern Comfort in a mo. No more rain here but glad it's been raining in other places. Congrats on our win in Lotto - better than nothing Gwenda |

Yes, Sal, the fares are cheap mid January, but I'm off to Perth mid Dec to early January :( .. no cheap fares for me. We havent heard from you for a while, so hope you stay this time. .. You're from H.H's aren't you? I don't mind it being a cold winter's day today - for a change. .. Actually I don't mind how long we wait till the hot summer (and the shorter the better). I'm decluttering the place - it will take months, but I've started - woo hoooooo!!! .. lol .. I think I need more cold winter days to fulfil the job ! Jood |

afternoon all, Sorry, I forgot my camera yesterday so no piccies. As per usual we didn't stop nattering, even the rain couldn't dampen us down. We all had pannini with different fillings and not one of us had pudding, weren't we good. Thanks for the photo of your house Tassie and that's a very smart letterbox, how is your mouth now btw, all healed up? Lucky you Joodles having a baby to play with today, I struck lucky last Thurs. when I visited a friend and found she was babysitting her 15mth gd, I had a cuddle while coffee was being made. Yvette I hope the prob with Possum's eye isn't too serious, have they said what the problem is? luv Jillx |
