My ancesters were born in Paisley, Renfrewshire (ggrandfather and above) but g/father born in Cronberry, Auchinleck - what a miserable cold place. I remember Glasgow well, had to return a hire car there in a hurry before we caught the train - big panic, wasn't sure where it was ! I was born in Perth (no, not Scotland) in West Oz, but came to the Eastern States in 1967 and now live in the Blue Mountains. I'm one of the lucky ones driving to Mudgee tomorrow. Jood |
