Good Morning Wattlers . . . Bit grey looking outside, but still a worthwhile look . . we have ships on the move, planes leaving and arriving, 4 giraffes with stretched necks, people out walking, and cars . . well they are just there but I ignore them !!! Would appear we will be up home on Wednesday . . . yippeeeee !!! TLR is taking me out to WW to the farm for the weekend, so hopefully we will get away around lunch time on Friday. Can't wait . . . ages since we got to spend some time out there. Probably be only chance we get before Christmas so will take the Chrissy pressies out with me. I loooove giving pressies!!!!!! Got a great pressie idea for sister Marie . . . going to try and organise for someone to teach Marie to use the puter! Came as a bolt of thunder when she rang me a few nights ago - to ask how to get capitals . . . I dinna know she, that dinna know the basic stuff. No wonder when I tried to get her onto the net I failed. She just uses the puter for games, apparently. Stuborn woman wouldn't come right out and say she didn't know what I was talking about !!!!! Just had a lovely long chat with Nan & Bill, (parents of my friend Denny who died) they ring me every now and then and we end up having a great laugh with our memories - but . . . . This Chrissy is going to be very hard for them. After Chrissy they will go up and have a holiday in QLD at our place and they are really looking forward to that. Nicer folks are hard to find. Funny a few Sundays back TLR was listening to Australia All Over - on the ABC, and there was Bill - large as life, rang in to thank everyone for what they did for him and the family when Den had her accident. (Shhhh word from Bill is there are 20lb Cod to be had out there when the season opens in a couple of weeks time shhhh) Off out for a while - some shopping to do - and a visit to Santas Workshop to get more u know whats !!! Lights on the balcoonie have gone - but wont be anything like your numbers Oh Great Queen . . . . Catch you all later luv Laurie PS . . . Jood is coming here for lunch all right for you on the 7th ????? XO

Goog Morning! Lol about your unborn grandchild winning the sweep Tony – destiny will out!! OH’s father always told me that OH was born lucky and had zillions of childhood stories to back it up, you just watch this new comer, he/she will be LUCKY!! Lara, you got my vote for Fashions on the field – (Lara wrote “I am wearing black bathers with aqua and blue and purple flowers and a lovely blue wrap with butterflys and a purple hat and thongs on my feet hehe (not elsewear ) good luck to everyone love Lara xx”) Gorgeous Lara! Well we had a lovely day, very relaxed, but OH got mega excited over Delta Blue and Pop Rock cos he had given out those two names all morning at the shop and to the radio station when they phoned him, so he felt rapt that perhaps some peeps had followed his tips and won some money! DD15 had long day she was tired last night but really pleased with both her Jap and Eng exams. Today two more, Information Science and Technology, and Maths. We were all happy to be in bed at 9.30 last night! Have a great day everyone, I have a genes contact to write too also – enquiring after my great grandmother!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heather

Firstly, hope you all had a lovely Melbourne Cup day whatever you were doing. To the winners . . . which is everyone . . your prize! As a virtual Sweep . . . you could virtually have any prize your heart desires. But, I give you a trip . . . to where ever you wish ! Just sit back in the comfort of you favourite chair, close your eyes and be in the place you would like to be for as long as time permits. Share the story of your travels if you care to. Me, I'm off to Africa . . . I will walk among the giant dunes across the great Namib desert, and the sandstone pinnacles at Karnasai Valley in Chad, trek thru the terraced slopes of the Virunga Mountains in Rwanda, Marvel at the mud buildings and towers in the village of Ait Ben Haddou. I will watch as elephants wade through the swamps in Amboseli National Park in Kenya, and as Zebra go thundering across the plains in Namibia and of course I would have to spend some time watching the giraffes in the Serengeti. My minds eye will feast on the colours of Africa, both natural, and the colours worn by the people of Africa . . . vibrant and startling! Oh and I nearly forgot the sound effects . . have to have them too!! Enjoy your prize . . . Off to dream of amazing places nigh nite - sleep well - sweet dreams luv Laurie PS . . . Trust you two to turn Yvettes lovely dress into a war of football teams . . . LOL

Hi All ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jill, glad to see you got ONE today. Take care........ JA - Congrats on winning the wattlers sweep and thank you for your continued support. Laurie has done a wonderful job conducting the sweep. Shaz, Sydney is a little bit too far for me to come on Dec 9, but sitting in the gutter sounds really cool to me and I really love chrissy lights. Always travel around Bribie to check out all the lights at christmas time. Evening Lara, watching dancing with the stars but - oh boy, the show would be 100% better without Dumbell Somers. Turn off the channel when he is going on about nothing Nighty nite, sleep tight Don't let the bed bugs bite Ducky
