Packing up for the weekend is the order of the day here - leaving from TLR's office at lunch time. so just popping in and back out again. Catch you from the bush . . . . luv Laurie |

I have often walked down this street before; But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before. All at once am I Several stories high. Knowing I'm on the street where you live. Are there lilac trees in the heart of town? Can you hear a lark in any other part of town? Does enchantment pour...... Out of ev'ry door? No, it's just on the street where you live! And oooooooooh! The towering feeling Just to know somehow you are near. The overpowering feeling That any second you may suddenly appear! People stop and stare. They don't bother me. For there's no where else on earth that I would rather be. Let the time go by, I won't care if I Can be here on the street where you live. Sorry..........jest felt like singing. Tony Oz...:>)) |

Evening All Jood, loved the 12 days of Christmas. Sent a copy to Mel, I know she will love it too. We went to the Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, Canada 2 years ago and they had the same theme but done in lights. Absolutely beautiful. Mary and SuzyQ, Didn't get much rain al all. Bit of lightening and thunder, but is really overcast here now. Lara sounds like a good idea to me. Do you want me to bring a few sandies (crabs). Would have to wear beach wear if we were there, so I think I'll do that. Jude, hope you have your peaceful evening Luv Pam |

Hello wonderful Wafflers Just a quick pop in before I head home. ~~~~~~~~~ hi to all Have finally caught up on the last 10 pages after a lovely 4 days working my butt off at the cottage - lol. I'm so over painting and putting up weatherboards! But the cottage is looking so much less like a hovel (about time). Have spent most of the day on Ancestry trawling BDM's and census' - now have a numb bum and a numb brain! But found a few elusive rellies so it was worth it. Jon is celebrating with his mates - final day of uni today - whew its been a long 5 years! For us as well as him! Ken is off to a car club meeting tonight - yeah!!!! Now if I can get David to go out - I will get a night home - ALONE!!!!! No TV on , light the aromatherapy candles , play some nice music, don't have to cook and just luxuriate in the peace - oh what a blissful thought. Just hope everything goes to plan. this doesn't happen very often. Ooooo I can hardly wait keep your fingers crossed for me. ((( huggles))) for Trifley and Ducky. Have to go Ken is packing up around me! He keeps yelling out has that computer finished backing up yet. (nah I'm just telling him that so I can finish on here!) Catch u tomorrow xxx Jude |

Vonny are you home yet from Sussex Inlet if so can you please ask John for me is the Vietnam Veterans display he was going to be doing after being here a permanant thing or will it be changed please. Also wanted to ask you about the dragon? Program how much is it and is that the name of it. Was it hard to set up please course kinda dumb me (ask Tony ) Jude saw how everyone rubbished what Bec Hewitt wore gosh she had a bra top on her dress of course she put a jacket on she was probably freezing I thought there would have been more of those lacy leggings being worn but bu**er fashion being comfortable eg warm is more important. Hz that's amazing the telescopes it would be right up my nephews alley he studies pulsars which fly around up there don't know what they really are or do but that's what he looks at when does DD do her last exam Hz will be going away then ?Thanks for picking me in our virtual fashions on the field can you imagine how cold it would have been if you'd worn that down there its lovely here today lovely and warm and we had wind buts all gone now so may jump in the pool. Now Laurie Before I forget tell TLR will email my Chrismas list before he goes and he can just add it to yours lovie ok Anna glad to hear the rain was good and no hail damage was done hope Katherine is feeling better Got to go and watch the races and check out the rest of the fashions and get some more entries into the competition for trip to Paris and Milan. Good afternoon folks, Just to let you know that although we got the storm we only had 20mm of the wet stuff and no hail, thank goodness. The thunder and lightning was a real good light show, but my Lucy is very frighteneed in the storms. Sophie couldn't care less and was sitting on the back of a chair watching it all. Not much today, just the odd shower but I think we may be forecast for more tonight. Been and bought new shoes today, just ask Shazz, Lew or Laurie about them, I really know how to make you all jealous with my dainty feet. Please can we put Christmas back a couple of months, I think November has come early this year. Yes, I think time passing quickly is a sign of getting older, just like the policemen getting younger LOL Did you come through it okay Ducky. Where are you Donna, shoulder not getting better. Did you survive the storm? Big (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) to everyone, not just the sickies. You all deserve a hug. Bye for now Love SuzyQ |

That was a good one, Joodles. A nice Oz spin on an old tune. Ooo...ham and salad sangers sounds good, Tony. Might have to go russell up one for me and one for Graeme. There is some beetroot left so might add a bit of that too. Well, the rain has stopped but it's still very overcast. More like a winters day than spring. I had to put some tracky dacks on....my legs got a bit cool sitting on the patio. Yaaayyy...Flakey....retirement looms. It's time for you to stop and enjoy life. I hope the rest of the day is good to you all. Big hugz Trifley X |
