Hi Wattlers, I hope that you are all well this sunny Monday morning. We are forecast for a storm today, lets hope it comes with heaps of rain. Jude, can your daughter answer a question for me. Is Chris Isaac gay? I must admit I like him but I have this funny feeling about him and his drummer. I think I must have Mondayitis, my brain has just closed down. Oh yes, Loved the Christmas poem Jood, I will make a special effort to memorise it. My little cat Sophie is in the wars again. Think she is using up her 9 lives very quickly. Don't know what she has done but she has a terrible sore on her chest and she spits and screams when I try to bathe it. Looks like the vet is going to have an even better christmas. Morning all Lovely day today and going to be warm I think. Taking John to see a neuro, surg. today hoping he can find the problem. and fix him up. Hate driving in the busy suburbs as we have to go to North Shore Hosp.Still worth it if he can fix OH up. Welcome home Laurie, glad you had a nice trip but I feel for your poor relative. what a horrid accident. Hope he recovers well. Tassie that was a sneaky taking LewLews number. pmsl.. A very Good Morning to all on this very sunny warm (make that hot) day by Botany Bay, where 3 giraffes are standing with stretched necks. Hope you are all well . . . ((((hugs)))) to all who need one We had a great weekend out at the farm - flat chat - always plenty to do, and so great to catch up with so many family and friends. Lots of laughing and party after the jobs around the place were over each day. There is nothing to compare with the sky in the bush . . .once you hit the plains - just the magnitude of it - the fact that you can see so much of it brings about a dimentional effect that you just dont see anywhere else . . and at night . . to steal the words of the 'Mr Patterson' . . . . 'And at night the wond’rous glory of the everlasting stars. . . . . as you drink it in - you just know how he felt when he wrote those words! On Friday, the OH of my Neice out near Cobar had a terrible accident off his motorbike . . out in the paddock, miles from the homestead . . . yet somehow he got back on the bike and rode it home. No skin left on one side of his face, a cracked collarbone, broken ribs, and great chunk of bone broken out of one wrist, concussed and confused - poor neice had to drive him the 90miles to town and make him talk all the way, even though he couldn't remember anything to talk to her about. Hopefully today they will airlift him to Dubbo and start to repair him. On Saturday night it was very overcast, so I was grateful to have had the clear stary night the night before - but no rain eventuated, well there were some spots, for about half an hour, but they were so far apart one could stand out in it and not get a drop. Just sounded like a few big bugs on the roof, and they dried up as soon as they landed. Now . . . just two sleeps till I go up home !!!!! In the meantime . . plenty of red dust dirty clothes to wash this morning - so best get cracking. cheers . . . luv Laurie

Morning all I have not been to well lately but I have one more test to go tomorrow & then up to Townsville Wed to see the specialist hope that we can get some answers this time as it is horrible not knowing. I have to find out soon as Jim is sending me down to Brissie to see my sister for a week when I am better I haven't seen her for 21/2 yrs & I woild really love to see her,also while I am there we will be scattering our mums ashes in the botanical gardens there, I think 9yrs is long enough to leave her in the wardrobe. Jim is going to do the rest or the painting inside while I am away but we will have to wait & see what the doc says first. Will talk to you all later Luv Cilla

hi wafflers, i've had the hugest weekend of cricket with the boys, and a nice one for it too. the eldest 2 played in the same team today and yesterday. middle feral got 8/31 from 15 overs. eldest child took 1 wicket and 3 catches off feral and there was a run out. exciting stuff (if you like cricket). youngest ones team won on saturday to make it a happy time for all have been over the moon with my fh. finally found the connection between all my naughty relatives. have been writng to a cousin-ish person, who remarkably lived sooo close to my nan (my brickwall nan),. i am quite astounded because now I know i've got stacks of cousins. i grew up without any relatives apart from my immediate family. off to bed now as i'm totally shattered. love to everyone from Yvette x
