Sooorrrryyyy fanny I'll type slower to see it that helps pmls, yes I had heard a bit with Melb v Syd rivalry here we have that in the same state and if Tasmania was a person, where would the City of Hobart be situated heee heee and we would have the brains, that is why we say to close the gate when crossing the border going to the other end of the state dont want to be invaded by Southerners :-))) Oooh our weather is also better at the moment we have 13 and they only have 8. Cheers Sue |

Wot? *looks left, right* - did Ringwood just fly past Springwood? I woodna be s'prised - its been all but howling all day. .. I only hope some bright spark (not intentional) doesn't get it into his head to light a bushfire - it would spread that fast! .. Its not cold here yet, but worst weather is to come I believe - cold at least, I think rain also - so what you have Tassy will drift up past Tony & Jude and land on us. Lew Lew - I couldn't possibly take your nickname off ya - nah - Joodles lurker sounds sooooo silly, Lew Lew Lurker is much better - I'll stick with Just Jood. .. Remember, I'll change my name closer to xmas - (forgotten what I used to call myself now hehehe) Oh I know - The Virgin Merry. You all gonna get blinged up and call yaself names like Rudi the Red nosed ..... ??????? lol I have to go out in this stupid weather soon, think I'll take the brolly and jacket - no knowing what it will be like in 2 hours. Jood (am I making you laugh Mary?????) |

Afternoon all Hey Tony your Hail stopped and we got it, so a mad rush to the clothes line to grab towels, pegs flying everywhere, got back inside and hail stopped grrr wouldnt you know it. Anyway I have been to the shops, made a shepherds pie for tonights tea. Just sitting having a coffee and listening to the radio and I got to wondering if an event happening over here is just a Tassie thing or do other places have the same things happen. We have a big North South rivalry that has been going on for as long as I can remember. South are always whinging that the North has AFL footy, V8's, our own Monkeys etc etc and the fact that they are the Capital and should have those things, and us up in the North are happy that we have those things up North and we think we should be the Capital, we also believe we have the better beer :-) and what does Hobart have mmmmmm oh thats right Sillywanker Market hee hee. Anyway the Southern radio station morning segment put out a challenge to the Launceston radio station of a tug of war for bragging rights on who the better place is hee hee, it is to be held in Oatlands, which is half way between Hobart and Launceston. this tug of war is supposed to be happening tomorrow morning. I say supposed as some think it is only a scam to see if Lonnie fall for it as Hobart have played pranks before, so time will tell. Anyway as our radio station has stated, what will it prove as we still have all that Hobart wish they had. :-)))))))))) Cheers Sue |

Just read lews post and realised we've got a howling wind happening too. been at weights and some essential 'sort out poss's stuff up' which I prefer to ignore and now he's stressing about. audit? where's the thesaurus. gee i'm 'orrible. i'm still job hunting, but i didn't want to bore you with it. have applied for 2 different council jobs, one fitness thing and just about to look at a 'sampling technician' hmmm. meet the criteria, just would be a change of career (when i should be thinking about retirement). the job i really want is being discussed by those above, and I have to be patient. so bored with the update? oh yeh, i applied for a job as a mushroom picker, but they didn't reply. I like being at home, cleaning the fridge and doing bits of sewing. go walkies and bike riding whenever I like. the longer it takes the less inclined I feel. i do think merle has choofed off, maybe shes lurking? Merle - come on down, you can do it!!! Jood, thats the way to do it, get in quick while the cat flap is down. Fluff, got that bike happening again yet(((()))))) Hoping the day is getting better for you Trifley, more ((((())))))))s lotsa love from Yvette x you are a goose tony. |

Afternoon Wattlers. Boy I'm glad our roof has a cyclone rating on it. The wind is absolutely howling and I can tell you it is very unpleasant. What a strange country we live in, lol Was going to have cold chicken and salad for lunch, but me thinks something warmer might be in order. Jood, you're a sneeky little number nicker, aren't you! I think you'd better change your name to The Lurker, lol. Off to find something warm to eat Lew Lew xxx |
