AAAHHH! just put a heap of new names on me tree and it only processed half of it. Frustratin business this FH. Now I'm just gonna chill Got my death certs from England yesterday and today for 3xgrt grandparents so I'm a happy little vegemite on the FH front. Hah, obviously I left too early last night.Himself needed a bit of TLC. I'm palliative caring for him andI think thiswill be his last xmas. Mind you we said that 41/2years ago. The experts forgot to add the power of the human spirit in the equation. That's just s nice way of saying he's too pigheaded to die. Might miss something.Says he'd rather stay around and annoy hell out of me!!I love HIM too.It eill be our 50th wedding anniversary in march so he can jolly well wait for that now. Hi Vonny, Did you have to have the hunky firemen come out. Don't tell Jood, she will be trying it too. LOL When I was young and I guess anyone else born in the UK, we always went carol singing around the neighbourhood. Cheeky little b*****rs we were, after one song this came next, ' Christmas is coming, And the geese are getting fat, Please put a penny in the old mans hat, If you haven't got a penny, A ha'penny will do, If you haven't got a ha'penny, Well God bless you' At some house's we were asked inside and given mince pies or some other christmas fair. We always remembered these house's and went back the next night. I hope this is a tradition that is still carried out in England, but maybe it isn't politically correct, and maybe not even safe anymore. Anna, please take care and do as you are told. SuzyQ
