Hi guys Have just had the most hilarious 5 hours with my old nursing buddies - we were reminiscing over all the old nursing disasters and I haven't laughed so much for ages! We have decided to do it again after Christmas - we're all retired now except one and she's working part time. Think I need a cuppa to recover! Good luck for Wattlo Lottlo tonight. O what a lovely day - I am finally just beginning to get some order into my FH in my OWN ROOM!!!! Will take a long time but it is a beginning. :) And I have even sent out three queries on Genes so will wait and see if anything happens from those. Mmmmmmm..lol Na'h, cant give birth.............That bit was left up to God.......... after all, she did create us............. Best i can get is constipated. The FBI had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks, interviews and testing were done there were 3 finalists. Two men and a woman. For the final test, the FBI agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun. 'We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill Her!!!' The man said, 'You can't be serious, I could never shoot my wife' The agent said, 'Then you're not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home.' The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about 5 minutes. The man came out with tears in his eyes, 'I tried, but I can't kill my wife.' The agent said, 'You don't have what it takes. Take your wife and go home.' Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same instructions, to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard, one after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the woman, She wiped the sweat from her brow. 'This gun is loaded with blanks' she said. 'I had to beat him to death with the chair.' Funny how you go to Bunnings with a full wallet, and its empty when you get home.......should be a law against it. Tony Oz..:>))

Morning all Tony loved the songs as we always do. Had to read them again today though as last night we had a couple of drinks from a home made wine that our landlord makes and had given us a bottle, it was Rhubarb and Apple, not a bad drop, but we had to put some lemonade in it to weaken it down a bit otherwise would have really blown the top off our heads haa haa. Not much else happening over here, just about to have lunch then attack the garage to get my chrissy lights out, youngest daughter is at a kids day in the park doing her scout duties, the other daughter is in the cooking fame of mind and is going to be making chocolate truffles and the boy is just mopping about a bit bored with himself, he had decided to move to the mainland with his Dad, well that is his thoughts at the moment. We will see if he changes his mind before he goes. Ok lunch time ~~~~~ to all~~~~~~ Cheers Sue

Morning again, what a busy little bee I've been - I think I gave myself a good talking too, as I said, so much to do. .. At present big pc is doing a looooooooooooooooong scan, so Mary I will tell you where I'm going when I get back on the big pc. .. It's with the travel club, and as usual, I go to a (water) jerks class on my way to girlfriends place, she, her oh and me all go to the local club for dinner and the raffle, plus donating a few pence to the club. (continued later .....) As for gadabout - its about 4 months since my last weekend with the travel club. Morning all - rise'n shine - I been outa bed 1 and a half hours now. .. Merle, you're a scream! .. lol Bit cold up here in the mountains this morning - sunshine and cloudless skies, so will probably warm up a bit later. I went to look at Sunrise, couldnt work out why I got cartoons - duh! .. It's Saturday. .. Doesnt feel like Saturday - where did the rest of the week go??? .. That means 5 weeks till xmas !!! Doc when you get back himself wants to know what your brand of Viagra is like.I cant understand why he got so upset when I rolled round the floor laughing {please dont report me for offensive letters) and said the only thing that would react would be his miles of tubing that follows him round the house. Night all Oh poor Vonny - all those feral kids! It's enough to send you to the wardrobe looking for the sherry bottle! Dear Printheth Lolly - I don't understand what you did with your tree????? Please explain???? Rudee - you are truly gifted. All this singing is is making my throat dry - perhaps a nice red would help! Had to go to a 'Farewell to Preschool' evening at the school where I was appointed after I finished Uni. It was a brand new school and I was the first Preschool teacher there so it was interesting to meet some of my old students - and their babies! The local paper was there and took a piccy so I might be famous tomorrow in our local rag! Next year, Prep is being introduced in Qld so there will be no more Preschool. But don't get me started on the politics of that! Tomorrow, I'm having a reunion lunch with the girls I started nursing training with 43 years ago - last reunion we had was in 1984 so there will be some changes in us all I'm sure. All this nostalgia and reminiscing is good for the soul. WE got our TV's back today - 16 days after the power surge. At least they go! Still waiting for most of the other stuff though. There is too much waffle for me to respond to everyone so I'll just say goodnight and hope you are all happy and feeling no pain after taking Dr Lew's medicinal compounds and pills.
