Sneaks in and marvels at the Chrissy decos ... ah lovely !! Now lets see what is missing from my special memory box . . Need some stone fruit, plums, apricots, peaches, nectarines and cherries . . . Oh and some watermelon ! White Christmas, Apricot and Rum balls. Mums special laced Chrissy cake (nearest I have ever tasted to it was Rebs cake last weekend) Aunty Jennies Pud in a cloth - . . and Nuts !! Lots of nuts - no not the Wattler variety, big hard shells that have to be crushed to find the good stuff . . Hangs a few Gumnut baby decos on the brances of the tree, and a few sprigs of Wattle now a little song . . . . Not an Aussie one . . . but sure sounds Wattler to me . . . Grandma got run over by a reindeer. Walking home from our house Christmas eve. You can say there's no such thing as Santa, but as for me and grandpa we believe. She'd been drinking too much eggnog, and we begged her not to go. But she forgot her medication, and she staggered out the door into the snow. When we found her Christmas morning, at the scene of the attack, she had hoof-prints on her forehead, and incriminating Claus marks on her back. Now we're all so proud of grandpa, He's been taking this so well. See him in there watching football, drinking root beer and playing cards with Cousin Mel. It's not Christmas without Grandma, All the family's dressed in black and we just can't help but wonder: Should we open up her gifts, or send them back? Send them back!! Now the goose is on the table and the pudding made of fig and the blue and silver candles that would just have matched the hair on grandma's wig. I've warned all my friends and neighbors better watch out for yourselves, they should never give a license to a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves. Top up in the martooni glass please . . . luv Tinthel Pritheth

Evening all So much waffle to catch up on! Glad you arrived home eventually Printheth Lolly - I'm sure you would rather have been at home withTLR than living it up on Qantas bank account. Like your Chrissy name Tassy - well done. Are you going to send us a pickle of your lights too? Good luck for the big 'lights up' tomorrow night. Merle - you did very well with your Chrissy name too - a very quick learner I see. Glad today went OK. Donna - you have so much happening over the next few weeks. It will be so good to have that shoulder fixed - and then the excitement of the visit from Carley. Is your OH home yet? Lew Lew -did you survive the drive to Adelaide? You must have needed lots of pretty multicoloured pills to soothe your nerves on the way. We had our walking group break up today - drove out to Shane Webke's pub at Leyburn. If you are a QLd league fan you'll know who I mean. Had a nice lunch but unfortunately the man himself was not there pulling beers! Katherine's last day of school for the year today. Now she has to wait for her report! From the results she has back so far, she seems to be doing very nicely. She has her best friend staying tonight so they ar enjoying the freedom of not having to study and are just veging out watching movies etc. Rudee - sending best wishes for the arrival of the new little miracle. Hope it doesn't take too long. Going to watch RPA - have a good night all Luv Anna

Evening All I was going to leave it til tomorrow to post and show off my Chrissy name, but I couldnt wait. I was standing in my lounge looking out at all the city lights thinking tomorrow night our house will be all lit up, cant wait. I love Chrissy. I have been a bit busy lately doing hospital runs as we had 2 friends in hospital for a while but they are both home now. The fire I mentioned on here the other day is still burning, but within containment lines, it was about 30 minutes drive from here and as we live in a valley it just drifted up the river to the city, it has came out that it was deliberately lit, and 4 firies were injured yesterday, rotten b*****s I know what they need if they catch them. Im still waiting, waiting waiting too ........................ for pics of our HRH's lovely castle all lit up with the chrissy lights ??? ~~~~~ to All ~~~~~ (((((hugs)))))) to Trifley, Suzi, Donna and anyone else not 100% Cheers Sue
