Hi everyone :-) Vonny hope you had a great time :-)))) Merle hope you get better soon Trifley take it easy and don't overdo it Tony still waiting Hope everyone's ok (((((((hugs)))))) for all who aren't. Going to do tea soon then, if I can find the energy, I may just do something industrious lol. The front room needs tidying then I will start decorating for christmas. Not the same amount of lights that Trifley has lol, couldn't afford the electric bill lol Love the house Trifley :-)))) I've decided to let Jess decide how to decorate the back room, except for the tree which will go in there and we'll all decorate so it depends on who gets hold of which ornament/bauble and where they place it lol. ~~~~~~~~~~~ to all Catxx |

Evening Wattlers . . . Just home from the harbour drenching and thought I'd check in to see how the Lotto went . . . Butter . . . they pulled the wrong numbers out again!!! Vonny . . . looking flash girl, very nice . . . Hope you had a wonderful evening. Merle, like everyone else has said . . . take it easy and do as requested. Keep the leg elevated, and get some vitamins into you to help the body while it is dealing with the infection - I wish GP's would push the taking of vitamins more !!! Well, we got all glamed up to go out and the heavens opened as we were walking out the door so I grabbed a parker . . didn't do much for the outfit, but kept me dry as we ran over to the Novatel to grab a cab to the city. I was so glad I had it with me though, meant I was able to walk around on deck while others were huddled inside. We had to wait about 40mins to board the boat, and I was really suprised at how many dinner cruise boats there are here in Sydney now. They were lined up waiting to get into the boarding area. No protection from the rain to speak of, funny little shelters that some clever person has designed, all lovely etched glass - with great gaps so no protection from the rain. When we eventually got onto the boat we had booked - there were 130 very wet people, and of course, we huddled in the lower deck because of the wet weather. The food was really very nice, and the music not bad either so a good night I think was had by all. I managed to spill a glass of white wine over the Chairman of the Boards wife . . . dina mean to . . . I was very good . . . really, I could have done a lot worse than that. If I had have done something deliberately it would have been worse than a little spilled wine and it certainly wouldn't have been aimed at poor Kiara. Ah well thats over for another year, all the interstate people will go back home tomorrow and things might get a little easier for TLR. I have had contact with a new cousin . . . 3rd cousin once removed actually, young lass, Sarah, from down in Canberra. Sarah has done a lot of work on the family history on my mums side, back a few generations, and is most generous in her sharing. Because I dont have my tree on here anymore, she got my email addy off someone else on GR that I had been talkiing to about possible matches. Last 24 hours have been non stop emailing. Off to hit the hay so catch you all tomorrow Nigh nite - sleep well - sweet dreams luv Laurie |
