Yes Jan. We gotta few old boulders here in Oz...ourselves. We call ours Kata Juta ( Aborigional for Valley of the winds ) or sometimes known to us Ozzies as 'The Olga's' Its a little bit bigger than Stonehenge, so we keep it outback in the desert....;>)) Rudee Oz....:>))) update: Lyn. Aaaaah. Wiltshire. Beautiful countryside so i am told, and home to the famous Stonehenge ( i think )...Not that i have been there myself, but my sister in law was born in Salisbury. Came over to Oz in the late 60s and married my brother the poor girl...lol Joodle. Dont have to put you daughters whole name in mate, if you want to start with her. Tony - here's a tickler for ya. I have wiped off my family history list on Genes, just down to my name. What I want to do is start a tree from my deceased ex mother in law to track her family down - how can I do this if I can't delete my own name. I dont want to put daughters name in as she is still alive. Lara, how could I forget Gong Lady (I've added her on now) Dratted cat persont!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jood

Lara. What great news for you.. Mate. Yes, it does pay to advertise. My ancestors are advertised all over the net ( including Rootsweb & Tribal pages) and quite a few Emailing lists. Two weeks ago i got an Email from a bloke in England who stumbled onto a site that had my relos posted on it back in 1997. After numerous emails back and forth, we discovered we were cousins. He has Photos of my G, Granduncle ( My G,Grandads brother ) and even though i have no Photo's of my G,Grandad...i am really happy about receiving shortly a Piccie of his youngest brother and his family. The BDM's are great to have, but Photo's are the iceing on the cake i reckon. Rudee Oz..:>))) ps. Best wishes to Cassie x

Merry where is Ding Dong Merrily on High /Sandra in the Gong please she is not on the list Hiya purrrrfectchristmas angelcat is your putor fixed yet please want to put you back on the wattlers list for emails agin leyts know when it is ok again, JUlie also if you get super in(dust)reous will you come over here and do some H/W for me too pretty please Alright folk here is my genealogy news I got an email from a lady re my Elsie Walsh and William Hamilton wow itys unbelievable just shows you doesn't it although sometimes I curse the lists on Rootsweb I subscribe to as you get heaps of emails that are not to do with you , this is the proof that its worth it this lady did not see my original post but saw the answer to it from a lovely lady named Dorne who is a treasure. well the lady who emailed me named Marian has even got a photo of Elsie in her wedding dress and a newspaper clipping of her being welcomed home after she had been a prisoner of the Germans when she was captured by a German raider who took over the ship she was a passenger on its called the Triona a phosphrus ship (Google for the full story ) isn't it unreal I didn't know this had even happened during the war. This Elsie walsh Hamilton by then was married to Marians mother's Uncle Henry Stringer. so it is amazing that we have found each other Elsie Stringer is the sister of my mother's mother, so Marian is not a blood relli so see how people who now have nothing really to do with your family can have records of things like that so all that says to me is get the names of your family out on the all the web sites and the lists as you never know what will come from it.
