Welcome to Sarah, you're a brave girl to go to lunch with a bunch of wattlers...just take lots of pics for the rest of us so we know what they really get up to...hehehe Ducky have a really good time away, I know you'll be lurking. Tont are we still waiting?? And we still have homemade chrissy pud with real hot custard, we put 20c pieces in as we serve it up..cant have the kids missing out on that tradition. I made 3 xmas cakes Sunday...hugh effort for me, dont do much baking. Tassie where are my pics please. I'll try to remember to take some of my lights to show but dont expect anything like the palace...lol Hope everyone that was unwell is feeling better. I have to get some work done before I go to the airport. See you all later Flakey |

Morning all Hugs to you Tassie - so hard to see them strike out on their own. He obviously appreciates that you have been there for him and it's not always easy for kids to say that. Fanny - have a paddle for me. Do you have surf or calm water? I love the sound of the surf. Are you finished studying until next year? Mary - great photo of your beautiful granddaughter. Is she celebrating the end of Year 12 as in going on a holiday? Trifley oh great Queen - how are you travelling? You've gone quiet. Hope you're just having Nanna naps and are not too unwell. Going to another 'farewell to Preschool' function this afternoon. This one is at the Preschool where I taught for the 10 years before I retired. Everyone is gettitng quite despondent at the thought of the introduction of the Prep year in Qld next year the main problem being that its introduction is under-resourced. Have a great day everyone. pretty gd mary, what a lovely photo. huggies for you tassie, good morning to everyone. i've got tired eyes from staying up late, I really need to organise my life a bit better so i sleep at the right time. a swim down the beach is looking like a good option just to wake me up a bit, although i've been about since 6.15. I was wondering whether that baby had come yet. yvette x |

Morning all. Seems OK outside so hope so, cant see through the curtains.. Sue BIG HUGS It must be a sad day for you. I think its not so much the leaving home but the fact that he cant just hop in the car and pop home for a visit as cars dont go through water..well not very easily,,,,,It is a lot harder when you live on an island. I am sure he will miss you and his sisters and will be over as often as he can. Hope his dad looks after him as well as you have. Well must away and get the OH his brekky and then its off to the North Shore Private for the MRI. Printhess Lolly. What are your plans for today,, More Christmas shopping and spending TLR moolar...or bending the plastic... Back later and love to all. Love Mary xxx |

Morning Wattlers Bit teary here this morning. Was up a bit early so we could all be together before David went to work to let Antony know what we was going to give him for Xmas, as he wont be here. His mobile phone had broke a week ago and there was a sale on, he wanted one that was on sale and like all kids didnt have the money at that time, so we bought it for him and he thought he had to pay us back today when he go his money, we told him this morning not to worry about the money as it is his Xmas present from us. He had a lovely Xmas card hand made by his other friends that he had also been staying with over the last 6 to 8 weeks when he wasnt sleeping here, to give us for Xmas, and he thanked us for the support, help and the bed we gave him, well I couldnt stop the tears, its just what a Mum does. Im gonna miss him, and I feel he will stay in Vic, just hope he thinks before he acts and keeps himself out of trouble and starts to make a better life for himself. Laurie you lazy person you, oh well we are all guilty of that at times. Have sent you pics of house, have fun shopping today, if thats what you end up doing. I booked myself in for a haircut at 9.30 this morning then it up to Mums at about 12 on the way to the airport by 12.45, so Antony can say goodbye to them too. ~~~~~ to All~~~~~ ((((hugs)))) to Trifley and anyone else who needs one, I do at the moment :-((( Cheers Sue |

You didnt miss meeeeeee tonight - nah - you wouldn't! I was here, but was trying to self teach myself Publisher, in order to type up a program. .. I'm getting there slowly, have put the rest away for tomorrow night (no rest for the wicked). .. It's been trial and error, patience and stubborness lol Mary - you are so much like Cat - not only did you number pinch, but went straight to bed after (that's exactly what Cat does lol) Don't know what happened to K. Beasley's brother, but he had not been ill or sick prior - so sounds like a heart attack. Sarah, I'm not claiming any royal titles either, I'm just Jood :) - but I don't have anything as exciting as convicts or priates in my tree. Night all *yawn* Jood |

Evening Wafflers . . . all fine on the western front . . . Had a lovely Monday . . . not much H/wk . . but plenty of chatter and catching up with friends. Think I spent most of the day gazeing out over the Bay, and watching the girafes. Maybe tomorrow I might do something exciting like into the city . . if I can get myself motivated !!! Time to call it quits for the night Catch you all tomorrow . . . Nigh nite - sleep well - sweet dreams luv Laurie |
