All right you lot, I'm Back!!! So, what's the goss? Looks like a fine time was had on that balcoonie, although me wonders where Bazza was hiding, heee. So, Loz, the car died at Rookwood, only seems appropriate, doesn't it. Adelaide was fantastic, as always, and the Barmy Army were in fine form. Most amazing, although the strains of 'I shagged Matilda' are still ringing in my ears, lol. Caught up with the family and have convinced the pregnant niece to also come up for Christmas. As they have just bought their first home, it appeared that money was the factor, so Terry and I are paying for their petrol and that'll be their present (with a few little extras thrown in, lol) Loz has tried to keep me informed of the goings on, but she couldn't keep up with you lot, pmsl. Waves and hugs to all and glad I'm back in my own little home. HRH Dr Lew Lew xxx |

Being a dutiful genie person, I was reading Hz's message where she says 'I'll have to do the pesky tree' and I thought she was talking about genealogy :( ..................... till she said 'I know who'll get the job to take it down' then the penny dropped. Ah well, I'm not blonde for nothing! Geez, someone take that baby out of the oven - it will be overcooked! Jood |

Oh, Anna, didn't they have a tough time !! I've got one where the first wife died after a year of marriage, and her cert turned out to say 'peurperal fever' which means she had to die after childbirth, yet said child is never mentioned anywhere, by anybody, and must have died - but maybe not? I keep thinking the babe was a foundling somewhere who never knew its parents, tho' dad remarried three ywears later and had seven children. 'Maternal evacuation' - what a colourful term!! Hi Shaz - I'm a'watchin' over you from the office!! If I go home I'll have to do the pesky tree, and I know who'll get the job to take it down, so I'll leave the others to put it up!! Although I do love putting up the tree, DD loves it even more...... Hz |

Ive just received a death certificate for Chris's g.g.grandmother who died in 1866 at the age of 45. Cause of death is 'cessation of maternal evacuations and dropsy.' Do you think she died from a miscarriage - or did menopause finish her off? Any suggerstions gratefuly received. Anna She had one living child aged 20 and 5 children deceased. Can't find them on the NSW BMD's so they probably died in infancy. They lived in Groombridges Swamp near Tenterfield. I know a lot of tiny babies were just buried in the backyard in the bush in the 1800's. |

HEAR YE HEAR YE (Drum roll, trumpet fanfare, bring on the all male revue etc etc etc) Today is ..............TANK DAY..!!!! Plumber was meant to be here at 8.00am but he has already rung and said he will be late as has to call in to the plumbing supplies and get some special pipe. I think Chris should take a valium - he is already underwhelmed by the competence of said plumber. Tried to tell Chris he would need special valves (expensive) which the council had already confirmed would not be needed as we're only hooking up to the toilet inside. Chris is pacing up and down and will be watching Mr. Plumber like a hawk to make sure he does the thing properly! Oh happy days! I'm just glad Chris knows the procedures - if it had been me, I'd have just accepted that what the plumber told me was correct. Will keep you updated. Thinking of you Tony and Queen Barcode... best wishes to your little family for today. Printheth Lewella - are you home yet???? Do you have an Aussie cricketer in your luggage? Hi Queen Trifley - hope you are on the mend. Love to all X Anna |
