No Shaz they didn't - neither of them and what am I doing still up - it's too b******g hot to sleep at mo. Working 9-4 tomorrow so can stay up a bit later - well this is early really - some nights I don't go to bed till midnight and still up at 5.30. Dayna and I have just been looking up holidays in Canada/Alaska but until she gets another job she won't be holidaying next year apart from her trip to Malaysia in January. Got to check dates and prices for Weird Al Yankovich - he's coming to Canberra Theatre next March - I've been told to book tickets by my kids. May Karma come back and bite all arsonists - have no time for idiots and don't understand why they feel the need. Off to check out these tickets and then head to bed. Seeya tamurra Gwenda |

Evening Wattlers I'm baaaack !!!! Have so many pages to catch up on, it will take me a month of Sundays to get there. Congrats to Tony, Barb, Daughter and Family on the wonderful news of Jack's arrival.....another wattler in the making (okay already made) and on the tree........ Have had the greatest week. Loz and TLR took me under their wings, have spoilt me rotten and have made me feel so welcome. I thank them soooo much. They are just the most beautiul of peeps. Their balcoonie is just the best place. Lots of time to reflect, dream and hope !!! I met wonderful peeps this week. Wed - Mary, the real surpirser (of the surprisees), what a dahling, then on Thurs, these wonderful wattlers whom I hadn't met before - Yvette, Jood, Lyn, Sandra, and Leah - what a delight you guys are as well as Lara and Shaz whom I had met before.........You guys and all the other wattlers have been an inspiration to me. Then on Sat night, we really did get down to business - in the gutter. Had a wonderful night wandering the streets (hey - minds outa the gutter) . The Chrissy lights were an absolute delight. So much work by Shaz and Rob and all their neighbours to make Christmas such a joy to all the community. Thank you Shaz and Rob for a really good night. Okay - next stop ??????? Maybe Vic, WA or ? Just kiddin Enough of this marathon, will catch up eventualy Luv and hugs to all Ducky |

Hi Sue. Not to sure, but just heard on the tail end of the news about arson. I heard that there were two fires lit at Maroona, (near Ararat) .and a second was in Beaufort by a couple of young kids. Both houses gutted, and another lit somewhere on purpose. Shazz. My sentiments exactly mate. Its o'k for us city peeps,( myself ) as all we have to put up with is the smoke, but i feel for our country peeps, and there families, and farms, that they work so hard for to keep. Mansfield, Jericho, Woodspoint, Gafney's Creek, Howqua and Jamieson are my favourite fishing haunts, and my brother and mates know many farmers and people in these area's for over 40 years now. So i feel for these people now, and must be terrifying for them and there families. |

Shaz It was Dayna and me that were microphonephobic on our hols. First day in NY at Ground Zero Channel 10 approached us for an interview - despite protestations of NO NO we did the interview but it wasn't shown - thank goodness. Then while we were at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto we were approached by a couple from an American Radio station and were interviewed. Be interesting to know if that interview was played - pppp If we'd been approached by a third microphone wielding person I think we both would have run a mile - lol Gwenda |

Nite Nite Tassie, still a little warm here also, was about to retire, but remembered, cant go to bed until time to turn the lights out, 11.00pm, Most of the leads have timers on them, but two leads have not, ran out of sockets and no more power boards left anyway, so alas, Im afraid I will have to stay up a little longer, (yee gads another bus load has just arrived), will have to investigate as to what I can do tomorrow, and try and rig something up, save meself having to stay up late every night, have to be up every day at 3,45 to get OH off to work and I tend not to go back to bed although I do sometimes get a little shut eye whilst watching Sunrise. Hee Hee love to be a fly on the wall in your place watching the cars lol, really I dont mind what car really wins the race, I tend to go for the driver anyway, but I DO like to have a little banter with you, keep you on your toes, heee heee, anyway nite nite, sleep tight Shaz |
