Fires everywhere, Tassie, Victoria and Sydney's west. .. Not good. .. Temps will be a bit cooler. .. Ironic we should have storms and the lightning starts more fires. Weather looks almost gloomy outside. Jood

Morning All Tony it is not good with the fires. I went to bed early and didnt hear about it til I woke this morning to the news that up to 23 homes are lost, but no lives at the moment thank God. People who know residents around that area are having trouble contacting them as there is no power and mobile service went down late yesterday. Im going to have a look on nine msn and TFS site. Doesn't it annoy you when you cant find a particular genie site because you can't remember what you call it - I'm looking for a Marriage Reversal site I had for WA, and it brings up gay marriages, divorces, anything but what I am looking for ! I've been into that site dozens of times before! .. bummer! Ducky - wouldn't one call that drum exercise I was teaching Lucas - co-ordination? tee hee. .. Merle, I was reading your post and I think with all us Wattlers you may have got a name mixed up, but you are forgiven as we have all done it lol. It is I that lives in Tassie, not Lara, although another wattler in Tas would be great. Yes Tassie is a lovely place but then Im bias, I could have had a coffee with you if we had met before you came over here last year as Carrick is only about 10 -15 minutes from city where I live, we quite often go to the speedway at Carrick. Pam loved the poems and the other jokes too :-))) Has your astma settled back down? Genealogy/Family History can be a very frustrating hobbie to some peeps, and especially the newbies not knowing where to look or search. Why i posted it in the first place was as a guide only to Australian research, and the many URL's that i have used to help myself, and also what might be found on the net as far as Oz research links. ( Links being the word ) It was never meant to be an answer to all questions, and if it was that easy,then i would have finished my own research years ago...lol.....
