Well Im back from my chrissy Luncheon. I feel sooooo bloated, why is it when you go to a buffet where you can eat as much as you want, you alway seem to over eat and pay for it later??? But I just couldnt resist a lovely Summer Pudding they had it was made with bread that lined the mould, fruit, as in Raspberries, Blackberries Cherries all put in the middle, it was absolutely delish, sooo I just had to have some more even when I was already full, and of ourse I had to have cream too :) As for the smoke it has got worse over the day, have only heard one report from where the big fire is and the people in a small township of Four Mile Creek have been told that it is too late to leave now and if it gets any worse to head for the beach on foot, not to try and drive out of the place, Dont sound good, Well better get off here as girls are home from school and the place is about to be turned into a beauty salon, Tamika is fixing up Dannielle for her School Dinner tonight. HONEY I'M HOME...... Good Arvo peeps and it is quite hot here in Sydney..Had a good trip home and I just love that M7 which takes us nearly all the way home bar a stretch from Pymble to Belrose. Best motorway they have put in yet. Jood Have a lovely holiday and and a good trip. I bet you are glad you are not driving all that way..lol big hugs... Good afternoon Wafflers . . . Running into house switching puter on . . . grabbing a cuppa and lettuce sambo !! Phew . . . feel like hugging my puter - seems ages since I got to turn it on let alone read anything. Hot sunny day on the bay, with not a giraffe head in sight . . . not suprised - the number of ships that have been coming and going this past 24 hours. Now where was I ? Oh yes, we went to the zoo yesterday didn't we . . . and while on the way to town on the bus got a phone call from neice in Canberrra asking if she and Eleesha, (Miss 5yr old who thinks she is a princess mind you ppppp) could stay the night . . . No worries, there is still the mattress that can go on the living room floor . . teeheee (not telling what TLR said) Had a great day at the zoo - loved showing the two little boys everything, and listening to their chatter. Then home by 5.15 and over to the airport to pick up Lyn & Eleesha, then feeding time at the Brighton zoo, and just fell into bed in a heap! Then this morning one trip in to Central station for a 10.10 train, then another trip in to catch a 11.15 train . . . Taxi cap is now off and I should be getting TLR's gear ready for him to go to Jakarta in the morning but . . . here I am! Lyn & Eleesha have gone up to Singleton for a few days - and Marg and the boys have gone up to Katoomba till Saturday! Little R & R for me. Ray off tomorrow, Marg & boys off on Monday and I'm off up home on Tuesday. Phew . . . Sorry you got all upset over that silly lady Jood . . . just have a great time with little sister. (((huggles))) for our great Queen Hope the fires are on the decline down south and the smoke blown away. Got to go put some linen thru the machine . . . its niggling away at me luv Laurie

Morning Wattlers Just popping on here on way to shower. I have a busy day today as have to go shopping, pay bills and then up to the Casino for a Chrissy Luncheon, then whe girls get home have to organise Dannielle as she has got her Grade 6 leavers dinner tonight. Spare a thought for all the firies and people affected in Tas and Vic today, as it is very smokey in Launceston today from the fire near St Mary's and a report coming straight from the area is not good and they are bracing for a bad day. We're getting the hang of feeding the partridge now, although it was difficult at first to win its confidence. It bit the mother rather badly on the hand but they're good friends now and we're keeping the pear-tree indoors in a bucket. Thank you again. Hi Wonderful Wattlers I've had a few busy and upset days so i haven't been on here. My ex-sister in law passed away and it was a bit of a shock to me. i knew she was ill but I didn't know she was that bad. I think she didn't want me told so I wouldn't get upset. But then I didn't get the chance to speak to her during her last weeks. I shall miss her. Life's a bit*h! Anyway.........I hope you are all ok and enjoying the lead up to Christmas. Well I decided to ring them and ask how many times I was alleged (or my phone, rather) to have rung this number, and to my surprise they had no record of it. They said the lady must have pressed star 10 hash to find out who I was End of story. .. Board plane first priority. MSN next priority. (when I get to Perth). Then have a wonderful time (third priority). Good ole Barcode - yes, Broome/Darwin would be the dearest place to go, as you'd have to go to Perth first. .. Hope you can hire a car and go looking looking looking. Congrats on the number crunching - we are getting better and better at outwitting Cat. Yawning already. .. Sue ( Tassie ) Thanks for sharing your smoke with us in Vic..lol After all......thats whats neighbours are for...:>))) Re the Flight Tickets...Probably try and fly as far as possible ( seeing its freeby ) and not waste it on a short trip. Dosent cost to much to fly to Tas.or Sydley. Gwenda. Dont know if its cheaper in Darwin or in Perth.....Only been to Broome and Perth once ........but i havent been to Darwin before, so best go there. Just got back from pickin up Chinese food.( seeing I'm batching tonight )....and visibilty is about 1km where i live. Dont know if the other Melbournite's Jude (Flakey ) and Jude DIY have the same but Nuna is chockers with smoke. Rudes....:>)) ps. Well done on the number..lol

Now that I got a number while you were all busy or not keeping an eye on it haa haa Tony Sorry about our smoke, it must be going out to sea then back in again to Vic, as Launceston is as clear as, I suppose what comes around as we had the smoke from Vic on Sunday. Congrats on Barb winning tickets, hey you are coming to Tassie in March or something arent you??? Could use them for that if you havent got tickets already, but then I suppose the dearer the trip the better one to uses the freebies on :-)))) And yes sometimes my screen has got the jumps, I just thought it was the puta loading the screen and I was trying to get puta to go faster than it could, if that makes sense. Jood, enjoy your holiday, dont let the hassles with the phone upset your trip.
