Day Two Dear Nuala, I cannot tell you how surprised we were to hear from you so soon again and to receive your lovely present of two turtle doves. You really are too kind. At first the partridge was very jealous and suspicious of the doves and they had a terrible row the night the doves arrived. We had to send for the vet but the birds are okay again and the stitches are due to some out in a week or two. The vet's bill was £8 but the mother is over her annoyance now and the doves and the partridge are watching the telly from the pear-tree as I write. Yours ever, Gobnait

Morning Wattlers. Come on you lot. It's 5.15 am, wakey wakey, rise and shine, lol. Yes, again I'm at my computer at an ungodly hour, thanks to the Texas Chainsaw who shares the bed with me!!! Trouble is, you wake up for a little trip to the bathroom, get back into bed and the noise is enough to wake the dead. So, after tossing and turning for 2 hours, you decide, well might as well get up and do something constructive, lol Flakey, you should know that I'm also lurking somewhere nearby, lol. Tassie, that dessert sounds yummmmmy, but I think you might have had my share, lol :-) Glad you made it to Perth okay, Jood. How's it going? Hey you Melbournians, is it still raining there? Send a little our way please and it can rain all the way up to help with the fires. Hi all well on the desk top now lappie has closed down one too many times on me today ight in the middle of having a chat to the Printheth sorry Laurie just went again and I had to remember how to fire up this old girl again Its getting pretty dark here as though we may get some rain please Hughie send it down, the wind came about 2:30 hot nthly and then started swirling around so havn't heard the results on the fires as yet will gp now again sorry Laurie as have no msn on here couldn't get back on there to apologise to you Love Lara

Good Afternoon all!!!!! Hurray!!!! I've finished all my volunteer stuff for the year!!!! I do love it but I am just soooo ready for a break now :) Glad you survived the Zoo and the onslaught Laurie. Good to see that you are home safely Mary Well, it looks like John's mum's house is finally sold - everything has been settled, just waiting for the distribution of proceeds. John's family is in tatters over it but I guess time and much prayer will mend things. He is heartbroken. Love the countdown Brandy :) What a good idea.
