I’ve always thought it’s my server, someone said Yahoo is grading emails according to some criteria and so certain ones get held back to send more important traffic – don’t know for sure, but on another group I read mail is not coming through in the order in which they are posted. Talking about old Bank buildings, some that I have noticed lately have really been done up nicely, there’s one here near us that is now an A&R Bookshop and it’s charming with all the wooden interiors and high ceilings, I’ve seen another one as an Antique shop, really atmospheric, can’t remember where. Vonny, you are on the count down now I see, it’s really real this boat trip! There’s still water here if you want some – but the Hume is 6% ! Haven’t been out there lately for a look, too depressing. Anna’s got half a tank full though - John can float the boat and row around in circles lol (while you and Anna go play) Ducky and Mel (((hugs))) have a lovely time together. Thoroughly enjoyed “Prairie Home Companion” last night, if anyone has seen it, we were beside ourselves with laughter over the “duct tape” scene. DD’s Headmaster and wife were there, also another large family from the school, and as I went with a friend’s husband, I told him he’d better get ready for the rumours!!! Tonight we are being treated to Gold Class “Casino Royale” by the local paper- champers at 6.15, should be excellent fun. Morning Wattlers. Another sunny day in Mudgee with a little smoke haze. Off to town to do some more shopping then drinks at the local Surveyors tonight. Jill, that building was the one I worked in. Use to be the Rural Bank. Banks certainly had impressive premises. 3 old bank buildings in Mudgee are now occupied by 3 firms of Solicitors! Trifles, glad you haven't succumbed to the dreaded flu. How inconsiderate of the royal family, lol Duck, I'm glad Mel is home and I'm sure you'll all have a lovely Christmas together. Sounds like you're having an eat fest, Jood. Morning all, freshened up the cold no end last night so a bit disappointed today as I haven't started 'Christmas' and was meant to get to it this week (this being the only week left :) lol Sorry Lara - didn't see that article about the boat and would love it if you could bring a copy to Mudgee. Jood, would you be so kind as to forward your instructions to Lara about inserting pickles in emails, to me also? Thank you muchly. Talking about the boat - the engine is nearly installed. :) We are beginning to plan what we are actually going to be able to do with the water available!! We may even start at the mouth of the Murray and putt putt upstream as far as we can, then just go from water hole to water hole!!!! Good Morning Wattlers Well I think it is, starting to get tired from all stuff that is happening at the moment, and I've only been outta bed for about an hour and a half. After reading Fan ciful's message about sanitary pads and slippers ??? Not sure what I've missed there have to go back and re reads thread, mind mistnt be working this morning. We had a lovely night in the park with our Carols by candlelight. There was about 14,000 people estimated to be there, They had the usual sing off competition between the adults and kids, and :-((((( the kids won ............... again. oh well that the way it should be:-)))) Tonight we have got Dannielles presentation night so another late one. With no doubt a few tears for all the grade 6 leavers. Pam just enjoy every second Mel is with you so you have some beautiful memories of this trip. When is she planning on visiting again? Although we are not the same as real family, but you know your wattler family will be there for you whenever you need someone for a chat and a laugh or even for a hug :-) If we win a nice amount in the big lotto, like Div 1, I might just have to invest in a motor home and pay a surprise visit to Mudgee in Feb, have to buy the motor home as there is a bunch of mad people who have probably already booked out the accomodation hee hee.
