i'm not partying. just a battle to use the net seeing all the boys are at home about tea time onwards. i've been out delivering junk mail, had an appointment and watched 'Borat'. gotta watch it for a mega laugh. its the bloke who plays Ali G, cant remember his name at the moment. if you have a look, keep in mind that hes actually a Jew and these are actual interviews/ moments. Found my fave recipe for coconut ice after ripping into every recipe book/ pile/ mag that I own. think I should do some cooking of scrummy things. I was a bit dissapointed that I couldn't buy fruit mince anywhere. so that the mince pies out for the meantime. made rice paper rolls for tea tonight and impressed the natives no end. Anybody still got their collection of pins from Robertsons. My oldest is from about early 1960s. Still a a bit dazed about getting a job, which reminds me congrats to Tony, you ol' nerd you. Poss has had a 'great day' with his IT efforts - not. Ummm realised i'm waffling so someone else can have a turn. oh its raining. been breezy and cool all day and now yippie. still haven't done h/w- bugger love Yvette xxx

I don't think I've had a drink since Saturday a few weeks ago when I went to a travel club xmas party (the same night as the gutter party). When are you leaving for Orange? .. Hi everyone We is back on line again... Thanks Laurie for letting the peeps know as I didnt know when I would be back if the problem had been the phone line as you all know how fast Telstra are.. We tested the modem on sons puta and it turned out to be the problem, so it was off down to the Power House in the Mall to buy a new one..John fitted it and bingo,, back in a trice..Thought I would have to ask Lara for the elastic band back for my puta...lol Professor Rudee Congratulations on attaining Univercity Status..I bet your family is proud of you,, Hope they pay well,,, havent had time to read back so will be back later.. Will be afternoon by the time I finish typing this so Good Afternoon all :) Still a bit coldy but over the worst - just spent the morning with dau and the grands at a Kid's Zone place. Was wonderful till about 80 kindergarteners turned up! The noise was then unbelievable!! Am plum tuckered out with taking Miss 20months down the BIG slide. It was an awful looooong way to climb up to it! She copied the big kids and learnt to scream this morning as she was sliding down!! :) I'm going to need a Nanna nap this afternoon. Still haven't done anything for Christmas, will have to get going this afternoon after my nap :) ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny

If the problem is not rectified before she hits the road she will be in touch from Orange - she and John are driving out there on Thursday. Morning all, well if this keeps up I’ll be well and truly smoked by Xmas, bet I don’t taste as good as ham or chicken though, and eucy isn’t the best flavour for eating lol – someone said the fire is at Porepunkah and Buffalo but there’s absolutely no wind, anyway, it’s close and smelly here, visibility two blocks. House lost in Beechworth yesterday as neighbour used slasher, sparked a grassfire, got the house next door !! – not entirely destroyed but bad enough. Loved “Casino Royale” last night, got the royal treatment re food and drink, long action packed movie and Daniel Craig is terrific in it. Have added Czechoslovakia to ever-growing list of places to see before I die! DD15 has orientation at Maccas tonight – she has noticed that earning money is useful!! Morning Wattlers Well we had a good but sad night last night. Dannielle had her presentation night and with her being in grade 6 it is an end of an era, which I felt a bit sad about, as I had gone to the same primary school as did my brother and sister, now that my youngest has left primary, it means no more going to the school for functions or some other reason :-( Thinking of the firies and families still in fire effected areas, hoping they get the fires out before this weekend so the firies can spend chrissy day with their family. David and myself was talking last night and we are thinking about going to St Helens, which is near where the fires were earlier last week for a break. We are kid free for 3 days at begininng of Jan and if our landlord's shack is empty we might go and stay for a couple of nights, just the two of us, sitting on the verandah, having a quiet one or two, looking out across the bay, mmmmm I do love that area. Tony congrats on getting your certificate. Looks like self teaching is better that being taught by the education dept :-)) Sorry to the teachers, or ex teachers on here,I know you do the best job you can, just sometimes you learn more by life experiences that in the classroom. ~~~~ to all~~~~~ Merry Christmas. Hi Jood, Stupid computer, have been trying for two hrs to restore and fix notepad in GR but nothing working have found different site in accessories, untitled notepad, so am giving this a go see if somehow I can manage to resurrect the old one that was in my taskbar, dont know what happened to it, but its driving me crazy, hopefully it will restore Cheers Shaz Well, will wonders never cease, when hit on add in GR, the icon came back up on the taks bar, how long will it last ??? Evening Wattlers. Bewdiful stary night in Melbin. Barb is busy potting plants, Petunias ( seeing its cooler ) Was working up at Monash Uni ( Berwick ) today....Big job. I had to sit for what they call an Induction. Its a 1hr computer course to check your knowledge on safety, before they will let you contract on the campus. When you pass the Induction they give you a Cert. to prove you have passed....:>))) Whooopee. I now have a Uni degree. Not bad for a primary school drop out....lol Came home and celebrated with a few amber fluids...i was so overcome by excitement. My Mum will be extatic...:>))) Lara. Hi Joods, sis and bil loved that salvage shop well bil did, wonder if thats where the new place is, My sis lives in Palmyra, house is up for sale at the mo, so many peeps want to buy but they all are in chains, (stop it !) ooh your mind Joods ! tehe tehe, They want to take the house off the market until after Chrissie, sis is fed up with having to do h/w all the time for presentation. Hi Jill - no - didnt see your sis lol. .. I think you said she lives around Fremantle, and we were in Innaloo, near Scarborough apparently. .. I just cheekily reminded bil we hadn't been to Fremantle fish markets for a feed of fish'n chips and he said just as cheekily back to me - 'you've only been here 2 days' (actually its 4, but he likes to stir me). I doubt I could have fitted a wok in my case, somehow! .. Sister said it may have been Houseworks, who recently took over from WA Salvage Company. (Still owned by Bunnings tho) Jood
