Another one home safely - good on yer mate. Not sure who else was heading straight home - A couple were dawdling along the way, JA, Laurie, Lyn to name a few. Trifley will take 2 days, don't know about Duck & Anna. Jude Flakey would have touched down in Melbourne a good while ago. Meanwhile Lew will be anxiously awaiting Terry's arrival (she's expecting some bling) - no seriously, she missed him. Awwww. Next time I go downstairs, I'll try and remember my camera! My phone is on the blink (as is the lady's next door) - good old Telstra. They've diverted my calls direct to mobile, but who pays mobile rates for outgoing calls??? Me! :(( Jood |

Hi everyone :-) School started again today for Jess so had to be up this morning even though this week is my holiday, Alex goes back tomorrow. Looking forward to more pickles of meet :-) Speaking of pickles, Sandra I didn't send you any, or at least I don't think I did, cos the last time I sent something it came back cos your email box is full. Either I can send them when it isn't if you want or one of the others can. Mary until the other day Jess's bedroom was deep lilac lol. She decided she wanted to go neutral after I did my bedroom in cream but I'd not long since decorated her bedroom so she had to wait a while lol. Yvette I dinny know about bringing my paint brush, I'm the slap it on and get it done as quickly as possible type lolol. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ to all Catxx |

Thanks Fanny - I forgot to say Sandra, glad you got back safe too. I has a problem. We did sort of check the tickets the other night, and as far as we know there was only a 3+1 - could all those with the original tickets just get them swiped, to make sure - and whoever's ticket actually got the 3+1 - let me know (also how much it paid). I could check back through emails to find out who had the ticket, but easier for the winner to let us know. What happened to all the things you were going to do on Saturday night - you 'left behinders' - apart from Tassie off somewhere on a hot date, it was soooooo quite, we Mudgee-ites were very very disappointed ... :( I haint told any porkies - Lew did truly jump in the water, we have the evidence. I know I did get into trouble from Lew for entertaining 4 people at my bedroom door (which led out to the pool) - she said I wasn't to do that .. :((( ........... Awww, I was only showing them my booful room. (and no, they weren't all men) How come some peeps got a pic of the cake ??? (I didnt) - tho I do have some myself, which I will endeavour to get onto emails as soon as I can. Now those with dialups - do you wanted to be included or not? Deekie - Im interested in aromatherapy - will pm you. Jood |

Hi Gwenda, glad to hear you got home safe. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye yesterday at the restaurant. Very tired tonight, tempted to play with the photos, but ....... - we'll see. Everything is just plonked on the floor willy nilly. Oh, it can wait! Be looking forward to hearing how the others got on, if they've arrived home safely. Jood |

Hi Honey's we'se home too - got in about 3 but it's taken me all this time to catch up on emails and thread. We left just after 8.30, with a quick lunch stop in Cowra, oh and 2 laps around Mount Panorama - they weren't quick unfortunately - a rather sedate 60 all the way - doesn't really give you an idea of what the race would be like. Had a few spots of rain on the way home but nothing like Friday's trip to Mudgee when we were down to about 5k with hazard lights, fog lights all blazing - quite an experience I can tell you - but gee it was good to see the rain and amazing how it stayed away on Saturday night. Had a fantastic time - everyone is wonderful but then they are Wattlers so couldn't be anything other than. I'm sure I've gained weight with all the good food I've eaten. JA - we got discount on our accommodation too. Hope you and Rob enjoyed zagzigging on the train. BTW the renovated railway station we were thinking of was Cowra. Don't forget we still want to know about the container depot at Blayney - any info gratefully received. Vonny - thanks for piccles - mine will take a bit longer as I need them burnt to CD and have a few to finish off film. Cat - love the bedroom reno. Dreekie - the name is Welsh but not me - Mother's name is Mavis Gwendoline and I got Gwenda May. Should sleep well tonight although I've nodded off lots on the way home Gwenda |

Hi honey's I'm home - got home aaaaaaaaaaaaages ago, like just after 10.00am, but only time to toss all my stuff on the kitchen floor, change and race down street to a meeting, after which another long drive for an appt, and now at 4:25pm I'm finally sitting down, shoes off, and one very very tired girl. Mary its a 3 hour drive for me to Mudgee - that included stopping at Maccas for a free coffee and filling up with petrol. I left Lew's at 7.00am, having said goodnight to them the night before, and packed as much of my stuff as I could so I wouldnt be noisy. Lew was taking Jude Flakey to the airport for Melbourne, then going to the hotel to change, eat, whatever, and then to the international airport to meet Terry about 9.45 I think she said, so she may not be home till late tomorrow. Telstra was supposed to arrive this morning - woe betide them if they didn't show up!!!!!!!!!!! Shhhhhhh!!!! Please don't tell Lew. I got lost in town today, after she showed me especially how to get home from Mudgee, and what happened, I didn't have a clue where I was! My excuse was the sun was rising and shining in my eyes, and the car was fogging up - is that a good excuse? Reckon she'll believe me??? Moo, Lew's cat is quite a character, very loud (male of course), and talks to her!!! Quite friendly to us all though. Both cat and dog disappeared when the party was on tho ! (I'm not surprised). Well - enough from me, I'll let the others have a go, I'm sure some of them would be home by now. Love Jood |

Hi all you fantastic Wattlers..Hot today and looking forward to winter..(cant please some) Always have to complain about the weather... Fanny Email Vonny and she might have lost you email addy.. If you email her she will have it to send the pickles..They are lovely..I love your Enhanced Purse Preservation method.. I suffer from that also..pmsl,,don't know what it means but sound FANTASTIC,,,lol Cat.. Thanks for the pickles,, Room looks lovely but an unusual combination for a young lady to choose..Mine always wanted lilac or pale green or pink,,the usual boring colours.. It looks really nice,,congratulations.. Dreekie This is the only thread that has never had any bitching.. We are all the best of friends and a very close knit circle.. We have mostly met each other but when we have a meet its like we have known each other for years and enjoy the company..We love it when others drop in to chat and most have been just as mad as us..and fit in very nicely..Take Merle for instance.. She has only been with us a short time but she is madder than all of us so she fitted in instantly and has made us all a little madder.. which we love..she has brighten our lives a lot..by the way How do you cook your porridge,,, Tassie Seems like you are having a day like us,,hot,,We had a muggy night also and it was to hot to sleep, so I got up and putered for a little while.. Hi Marilyn,, Looks like its recycle time at your house..its amazing how it always happens at once.. I think the manufacturers have a plan to make us renew every so often..nothing lasts these day and you never get anything repaired as that is more expensive than buying a new one..get a new lot and send him the bill,, cheer up and enjoy the retail therapy... Vonny Thanks for the pickles they are lovely.. Just loved the cake..lolTrifley getting her revenge,,lol hope it tasted good.. Busy with OH today who wanted to go shopping and lunch at the Club across the road,, OH walked there and back and seems to have survived OK..lunch was nice(Chinese and a lot of other things) and only cost $8.50 and the plate is huge..More than I can eat, I don't think I have finished a plate yet..wine is lovely,, A River Gum Chardy by McWilliams,, quite yummy..and only $12,50,, Hope you are all rested after the weekend..back later Love Mary xxxx |

Morning Sue, Morning Marliyn............. Good Moooorning Wattlers!! Good morning Ladies……and Tony! Hope all the Mudgeeites are fit, sober lol and well! Wasn’t about yesterday, not been too bright. Finally managed to take the dog for a walk in the park. It was bright and dry about 12c nice weather for a Scot (Mary I did have a bowl of porridge before I went out, have it Every morning! And porridge as well)lol Phoned my Mum today in Glasgow, started chatting about where I was with my Genealogy, within the next hour she rhymed off about 7 new names and about photo’s my cousin has that didn’t have any meaning/relevance to date!! Can’t beat hearing it from someone close, Mother is 88 and memory like a razor, so I’ve had a great day all round for a change. Suzy and Jood (and anyone else that’s interested) if they want I will PM recipe’s for Aromatherapy mixture’s for the legs. (I also have treated friends, cat/dog etc. for trembling, arthritis, eczema, gout, muscle pain etc). Haven’t seen news or read a paper since last Thursday so no idea what’s happening out there, I think the media just trumps up any old *rap that comes to mind. Nearest I’ve been to Ozz was when I went to Hong Kong for a month over xmas and New Year a long time ago. What a fascinating place, even got chased by some men waving axes and machetes shouting “White Devil” what a laugh, so just went to nearest bar in Kowloon! Well going downstairs for a cuppa, Coronation St. is just finished so wife will be heading to bed to watch CSI drivel etc. Catch you’s later! Dreekie |
