Its 20 minutes into Christmas day in Queensland . . . SO . . Merry Christmas all !! Thank you for so many good wishes and they are all wished back at you so very sincerely. This little household is all ready for a lovely Christmas day, though I am a little concerned about Lew . . Earlier this evening I overheard TLR telling neices little boy that one of Santas boomers is laying by the roadside near our place so Santa will be one short for his trip around Australia and may not get inland to Bathurst and Mudgee . . . teeheee I am sure you have been very good Lew so dont fret too much!! We have spent the evening outside observing a lovely little family of Tawny Frogmouth Owls - they nest in one of our trees every year and this year they have had a bumper crop 3 babies. There were two cats lurking about so we were standing guard till the parents took them back up the tree. Watching them as they jumped about on the ground playing and eating stray insects, such amazing birds . . . not the least bit pretty, in fact look like a piece of old timber at times. Well off to bed so Santa can come make his delivery . . . Night all . . . thanks for a lovely day today Ducky and Mel HO HO HO Merry Christmas . . . . luv Laurie

Hi Yvette, Yep am going down to Manyana, might wait until the late evening before heading out and try to miss most of the traffic as every man and his dog seems to head off the same time. HI all. Its been raining today at Orange and we got 1 1/2 inches.. beeoootiful.. The farmers and orchardists need it so badly.. Had a nice day today with peeps dropping in for coffee and it is lovely to see old friends.. Am very tired so will see ya all tomarra and hope you are all going to be in good spirits ,, especially Jood who has to raid the garage fridge before dinner in order to get a drink for Christmas..lolNever mind Jood we will make up for it in Mudgee.. hi puss, are your kiddies excited ? i used to love it when they were all hyped up. poss and youngest are watching life of brian , they said its a christmas movie. all I went in for is the biggus dikkus bit. i've been trying to clean up my sewing table, got another glass full of shiraz, had a mini blackout (electricity eccentricity) and restarted the puter. all in 20 minutes. I think the rest are watching the carols on the tele or for real. I've got a short attention span so don't watch the tele. nite sue merry christmas love Yvette
