Uhmmmmm Tony,. are you likely to be driving through Toodyay Cemetery 50kms north of Perth huh????? hahaha <that was a hilarious joke !!!> The day we went up there, I found 4 or was it 5 family members laying side by side in similar concrete graves. It was about 40 deg (I was soooo stupid walking round the cemetery in that heat for starters, but I was only there for that day). Anyway when I looked down into the camera, I could not see what i was taking, so I had to guess that the whole grave was in the screen. Sadly only two came out. It's not THAT important tho, as they weren't direct relatives, but I was sooo disappointed to go all that way and then stuff it up. I took 44 pics in and around Toodyay that day, most of them I could not see the screen because of the glare. I was lucky the rest of the pics came out. Love to all Jood |

Hello all Sandra how awful not a nice thing to happen sounds like everywhere though for familieswho already have problems I know that Christmas can be a bad time for them and those around them and its not nice to hear and see it Cassie had a drama in her street and she said thae were looking down on the street fromupstairs and she said it was like a bad movie . Some ferrals who live near her have taken a dislike to a girl living opposite Cass and they are making her life a misery some one reported them for being cruel to their dogs and they blamed this girl although she had nothing to do with it and she has had bottles lobbed through her windows just missing her daughters Baby and the police weren't doing anything and then she got in touch with her local memeber and he went to the police and went through them they said ok she doesn't look like a you and me as she is quite a youngish nanna and she has peircings etc but she works, looks after her daughter and the baby and she keeps the house nice her own home too and she doesn't cause any problems and never has and the local member said to the police ' So you lot get of your butts and do your job as the ferral lot are serial trouble makers ', drug dealers and have domestics all the time and just generally bad news and boy did the police get a shock and they did get off there backsides and have been in the street everynight 3 and 4 times checking up and they allowed her to take an intervention order out and they are supposed to keep out of her end of the street too so hopefully this will work . Vonny glad to hear your son is on the mend and you had your late Christmas Day and had anice one too Laurie have been pretty good and managing to keep positive as a good friend told me to got the lippy on *i*s out tummy in (well as far in as it will go ) pmsl and trying to get on with things . G'day Wattlers.....how's my favourite bunch of cyber friends going? I've been thinking of you all over the last few days....healing hugz to those who need them and big happy hugz to all the rest. By the looks of the posts you all found a variety of ways to see in the New Year. The Royal consort and I knocked the top off a bottle of bubbly, devoured a cheese plate and welcomed the year in a nice, quiet fashion. My resolution (only one) to stop and smell the roses so I can appreciate life. The rest will fall into place. This sentiment I wish for all you wonderful people, too. What a way to start the year....I got a phone call from the McMad shiela from Fife! She sounds as if she had a good time seeing in the new Year. She also expressed her love and heartfelt thanks to all the Wattlers for the way we have stood by her through her illness and treatment. I told her that's what Wattlers do for their friends. I can attest to that fact! I'm on my 'good' week now....so much so that I was well enough to clean the kitchen floor yesterday! It was very surprising.....it felt good to do a bit of h.....k for a change lol. We did have a minor kerfuffle yesterday. The young prince nearly electro-fried himself! He plugged in the sandwhich toaster, grabed the handle to open it and.....kerblooie! Sparks went flying and one of the power circuits blew. Thank the gods for power safety cut-off switches. He just stood there looking dazed and said...'my arm tingles'. He was ok but I think it gave him a bit of a shock....(get it? Shock? ..anyway!) I've told him he has to take it in to work and give it to the sales rep. and tell him I'm not happy with it. We've only had it 21years and it breaks down! You just can't get good appliances these days! The Royal consort has finished the lawns (he got a new mower for Chrissy) and is in need of a drink so I'd better get him one. I have to be nice to him.....he and the young prince are going to assemble my new display cabinet this arvo. Might make myself some coffee while I'm at it. Big hugz to everyone. love Trifley X |

Hello Vivienne, so glad you could come and play with us :) Just don't take any purple pills. :o So nice to get a few more WA people. But what about SA? Don't they do Family History???? Back to 'work' for me today but I only have a few days and then no more for 6 months :) Lovely and cloudy but the wet stuff is very patchy. Just hope that it is falling on the catchment areas. Have to catch up with the h-cough-k especially the apricots - had to strip the tree this morning (what the Cocky's were kind enough to leave us!) and I was making jam last week, in between hospital visits. Made a lovely fig and cinnamon one. Have run out of jars at the moment. Nice to have the world back to normal - whatever normal is! (((((((hugs))))))) to all just because :) Vonny |

Afternoon All, Mmmmm tangerine pills, thanks Lew, feeling much better now. This lurgy seems to be pretty wide spread, so many people around the place have had it. Really took the wind out of my sails, i was feeble for days, OH says make that sookie lol. I will buy us a ticket in the next big lotto, We have had a few sprinkles of rain, just enough to wash the dust off the trees and give the garden a small drink. (most of it is dead though) . My poor standard roses look very sick, only one looks like it might live. I religiously take out the shower water to them, but they don't seem to care for it much, fussy blighters. I have resigned myself to them turning up their toes. Have a good day everyone, Take Care Wilson |

Good morning all Bit overcast here today, watching the sky because I have towels on the line. I am hoping that I will have to run out to get them in, that will mean it's raining. Mary, Jood did the last Wattle list and I don't have an updated one. Infact any newbie's who are not on the list can you send me your email and I will update it. Whatever any one does with the lotto winnigns is fine by me as long as it is to buy the winning numbers. LOL My little Sophie has been in the wars again and she is a bit under the weather so it looks like I will be paying for some more renovations on the vets property again. She must have been in a fight because she has a terrible wound in her groin. Ofcourse it was over the Christmas break and the vets were closed. They managed to get some ointment to me to stop any infections, but it isn't healing very quickly, and she just licks the ointment off. Did 3C ever come home? I hope everyone who is sick is now starting to feel better. I am also please to here that your son is improving Vonny. It must be nice to have him home. Fluffy, I hope you are doing okay. And how is the Queen today? feeling good I hope. Laurie, isn't it a pity that we can't choose our relative like we can our friends. Just think what christmas and new year celebrations would be like for the Wattle family. Tony, this is for you. Do you have the words to the cricket anthem, under the southern cross. Just heard a bit this morning and I think it could suit the Wattlers. I think I should go now and do some h*********k, but neville is out and while the cats away, so they say. Bye for now SuzyQ |

Morning Wattlers, we have showers in Mudgee!!!!! Yippeeeeee. Keep all your bits crossed that it continues. Loz, that crazy Jilly McMad. Insisted she had to ring me because she'd never spoken to me, but I warned her that I think she was running up the national debt. It was wonderful to chat with her, although she reckons I don't sound like an Aussie. Had to do my Paul Hogan impersonation for her!!! lol Flakey, McMad was trying to ring you, but couldn't get through. Can you please let me have your mobile number, because I think the one I have must be wrong. Trifles, you're obviously feeling much better, but don't you think washing the floors is a little beneath you, pmsl? Where are Nefer and the brothers??? Hey, Duck, thinking about you heaps. Can't wait for you to get to Mudgee, so I can give you a great big hug (and some of a special little pills, heeeee) Vivienne, well to be best thread on the boards. Most of the people here are harmless, but that's because I prescribe them some lovely medication. Let me know if I can assist you in that department. Vonny, that's good news about your son and I'm sure the memory will come back real soon. What a terribly yucky start to the New Year in your street, Sandra. I hate the sound of arguments. It's one of the only things that really upsets me. Hey, Yvette, how'd that first day on the job go? Well, I have booked the Lebanese restaurant for the Mudgee Mudgee luncheon on Sunday 18 Feb. What I need now please is some final numbers, so those who are going to do the wine, cheese and olive oil tasting then lunch at Deeb's Kitchen, please email me, so I can organise the bus. Off to get dressed and get on with the day. ~~~to all~~~ HRH Dr Lew Lew |
