Morning All, It has taken ages to read back through the thread, but am still smiling. ....I have such a boring life lol. I went to start the car this morning...flat battery again. Rang the ford place, they said ring road side assist.GRRRRR rang them and they came two hours later and started it and said nothing wrong with it. This is the 5th time in about 6 months and we are on the scond battery in two years. So got cross and drove it straight out to the ford place and said i will pick it up again when they fix it.....Think they might have said rude things about me when i left he he. Any way thats all fine and dandy, but now i have to walk to work this afternoon and it is HOT, guess i better leave early so i can walk slowly lol. Well i took so long to read that i have to go and get ready now hehe. Have a good day all, i promise myself that i am not going to leave days between checking in here ever again lol. Take Care All Wilson

Awwww Peter - come and live on Oz - its much better here!!! lol I would never go to the UK in winter, May June July are the best months. I have a poem for Tony - no, I didn't make it up - I'm not that talented. The Beer Prayer Our lager Which are in barrels Hallowed be thy drink (I will be drunk) at home as in the tavern Give us this day our foamy head And forgive us our spillages As we forgive those who spill against us And lead us not into incarceration But deliver us from hangovers For thine is the beer The bitter and the laaaaaaaaaaaaager <got carried away here, was singing it lol> For ever and ever Barmen Jood

It's depressing reading that everyone is basking in their sunshine. Over here in England, we have high winds blowing a cold draft, plus daily downpours of that lovely wet stuff, rain!!!!!

Morning Wattlers, perfect weather in Hammo for the past couple of days...now if the internet would just work I'd be in paradise Rumour has it that Nicloe Kidman is arriving here anyday to make a movie. The crew are all here and we have been watching them film on a ship in the harbor. We can see from our balcony. Nicole will be staying on a huuugeee yacht outside the marina, just in front of us. We went snorkleing wednesday off a deserted beach, absolutely beautiful. Lots of coral and fish, then back on the boat to watch the sunset...........I know ,its a tough life isnt it......lol Lew, be careful who you get to dispense your pills while you're away. You want someone responsible and intelligent......not just someone who flatters and crawls....lol I'm sure you will be able to think of a mature, intelligent, responsible person after all you are a brilliant doctor who just happens to have Royal blood. I'm pushing my luck trying to stay on here much longer, so .....>>>>HUGS<<<<<< to those who need them have a great day Ducky where are you????? Flakey

Morning Wattlers. Going for a top of 31C. Afternoon swims in order, me thinks. Very nice job applications, Laurie & Anna. Anyone else like to submit their resume??? Sandra, pills on their way, express delivery. I suggest that as they are Bailey's flavoured, you just take them with ice. Jood!! You're getting as bad as that bleeding Cat. I don't want to have to get the gun out to use on you, missy!!!!! Listen here Dobber. If I find out that you have been communicating with me hubby, there'll be hell to pay!!! And trust me, the medication will not be very nice. Mary, Terry prefers the ski fields in Europe, but does occasionally ski in USA and Canada. I've been with him on several trips and just can't be bothered now. The temperature onboard is about 22C, Anna, so I only need the thermals for onshore jaunts of which there are 6, Cape Denison, Port Martin, Dumont d'Urville, Macquarie Island, Auckland Islands and Snares Islands. The rest of the time it's just casual clothing, although we have to be a bit more dressy for the Captain's Dinner on the second night. Might have to frock up, lol Now, where's the Duck??? Show yourself, so we can all give you a big Wattlers Cuddle. Trifles, I lucky, me no get sea sick, but me little travelling companion does :-( Luckily I'm travelling with my personal physican, so I'll be right whatever happens, heeee. Well, best go and get some brekky. HRH Dr Lew Lew xxx

Good morning everyone Well - have to throw on some washing and then I'll settle myself in the lazyboy and watch the demise of the English cricket team. That shouldn't take too long! Then - a bit of gardening - if it doesn't rain again. Showers are predicted. A top temperature of 21 degrees forecast for our city in the mountains today. All very pleasant. Had to put on a jumper for the morning walk. Have a great day everyone. Hope you get rid of the aches and pains and stiffness Joodles. Perhaps some of the good Dr's pills laced with some of my efficacious herbaceous additives may do the trick!! I had to laugh at Garfield in the paper yesterday. Garfield's owner, Jon, says ' Liz has some leftover holiday fudge she's bringing over.' Garfiled looks stunned. Jon says ' Some people do have leftover fudge.' Garfield's response....'What a concept' I do identify with Garfield - there's never any left over fudge in our house! Have a good day everyone XX Anna

Vonny - Brother's Keeper and Legacy are both family history programs. Brother's Keeper has been around over 20 years, but Legacy is a very modern family history program, I've been using it for quite a while. I dont know what program you are using to put your history details on (I also have Family Tree Maker). Anna what were you saying about the threads on Legacy on that other site? Jood

Good evening Wafflers . . . have nearly caught up with you all . . phew . . takes some reading !! Welcome back Joodles . . . and yes, Deirdre does live out on Moreton Bay - another QLDer. Tassie your weekend away sounds like bliss . . . such a lovely little part of the world - haven't been there in years !! Merle . . love the little song - sang it to TLR tonight and we both had a good cackle Shoes, did someone mention shoes ??? where ?? sale ?? when ?? sale ?? Shoes are like bling . . . a girl can never have too many or too much!! so says Imelda Titman We have spent the day doing lots but dont know what . . . I did get the washing done, and pulled the laundry apart (litterally) - stopped TLR from climbing a tree to clip its wings that were hanging in the gutter, went over the creek and played with friends dogs that are home alone while friends are in Tassie - dont know what else, but I got tired doing it . . heehee. My in tray is chockers and I have buckleys chance of getting it cleared away again this evening. Dont think I will ever catch up. Oh talking about dogs . . . son Glen got a new puppy the other day, Deisel is a lovely staffy - just 6 weeks old. Of course Glen & Nell are now going thru the crying puppy stuff and not copeing too good. Well, yesterday they left puppy home in laundry with a kiddie door to stop him getting out - alas the door didn't do the job and deisel got out. Knocked over the chrissy tree that was waiting to be packed away, ate the decorations and completely demolished the angel off the top - she is now just a few loose threads!!! Poor puppy is not the angel they thought he was . . . teeheeee Dear Dr Lew . . . I would like to submit my name as a responsible person to take charge of medicating the Wattlers while you are on your journey down south. Like we are sisters . . . Printheths together . . . I know there is noone who could possibly do the job as well as you do, I would not even suggest that I could match your skill and expertise, but I promise that I would do the best job I could and would follow your directions to the letter. I think that without the distribution of said medications the wattlers would get out of control while you are away. Would you like me to come out and mow the lawn for you while you are away too ??? Feed the animals (no silly . . . not the wattlers . . . the other animals . . ) Well the eyes are having trouble staying open . . . must be all this fresh air! night all - sleep well - sweet dreams luv Laurie xoxo
