Afternoon all Trifley Not sure how old the actual puta is, David brought it over with him when he moved here from Vic nearly 4 years ago. But the hard drive that played up is only about 12 months old, we still have the original one in the puta, but we put another on in as a secondary or storage drive. I did have a lot of the work backed up on disc, but being slack I hadn’t updated the disc for about a month. A couple of the programs were lost, I copied what was saved on the puta to another disc now I am about to cross reference to see what may be missing. Hope you start feeling better soon with you back pain. Well I have been busy this morning like Rebs with shopping and paying bills, also had to go and buy a new pair of runners, wore my old ones out, lol dont know how???? pmsl, next on the shopping list will have to be Jeans before we go on holiday to Vic, cant be walking around Melb hitching up my jeans everywhere I go, they might wonder what type of loonie I am pmsl. Stop confusing the girl Jude, there is already a touch of white ......can't you see? White tassles on the end of the scarf, and a white pom-pom on the beanie. Besides, horizontal stripes aren't very flattering, unless you like a wide load sign on your back. lol!!

Hi to everyone old and new. I too was sorry to hear about Gene Pitney, such a shock. Do we now the cause yet. Joodles, yes it will be Telstra, I currently have a 12 month contract with them for dial up, so I will just switch over. Also, as it isn't available yet, I doubt if the other providers will be able to offer broadband for a while. I originally switch to Telstra to get something done about my connection. There was a time when I was disconnected every 15mins or so. It was costing a fortune in phone calls. The only way to get it fixed was to go with Telstra, and it took them about 4 months to sort it out. I love living in the rural areas but it does have some disadvantages. Trifly and all you other sciatica sufferers, you have my sympathy. I have been in constant pain for about 18 months. I have a bulging disc which is squashing my sciatic nerve. I am waiting to see a neurosergeon, but during the long wait, 3 months now, I am getting gradually better. I go on the rack once a week and take a constant suppy of pain killers. Actually, I have managed to reduce the pain killers now and it is only bad if I sit for long periods. Walking about eases it a lot now, but a few months ago I couldn't walk at all. I am hoping that now I can walk I may lose some of the weight that I piled on and then maybe it will get better. I must say, I don't fancy having surgery on my back. Glad to see you friendly face again Donna, how are you. I have now forgotten who said what, so I am sorry if i forgot any one, I have my fingers and toes crossed for Saturday. Was it you Anna who asked what we would all do if we wond. Well we need a new car and there is so much i would like to do to the house, it may be easier to pull it down and start again, or move. My goodness it dosent pay to leave it to long before putting a message on here...I have just read 3 pages which have been done since yesterday. welcome to all the visitors and nice to see you.. Its hot again here today and lovely and sunny.. Dont know how long it will last but for the next few days at least I think..Had lunch at the club and had the nicest hamburger I have had for ages.. It was all freshly made and the yummyiest chips..No tea tonight...may have some fruit ... If we win lotto I will donate the caravan to a needy cause , as I am getting fed up with waiting for it to sell. We have so much else to do.. Like party and travel to all the needy records offices.. and the main one is Kew..could spend a week there.. Laurie enjoy a rest as I think you both may need it.. This one conjured up a funny image. lol!! One of the city's top cardiac specialists died. At his funeral, his coffin was placed in front of a huge replica of a heart made of red roses. When the pastor finished the sermon, and everyone said their good-byes, the large heart opened up, the coffin rolled inside, and the heart closed again. It was a majestic tribute to the much loved cardiologist. Suddenly,one of the mourners burst into a fit of laughter. Irritated by his insensitivity, the man sitting next to him asked, 'Why are you laughing, Mister?' 'I was just thinking about my own funeral,' the man apologised.......... 'I'm a gynaecologist... And did you know Rebs, that sitting next to the gynaecologist was another doctor whose face had turned purple, coughing and spluttering. The gynaecologist said 'Heavens, man, what's wrong with you?' Probably already told you about my meeting with him, . . . . . . . . and him buying me a carnation . . . . - taking me for coffee, . . . . . giving me 2 special guest tickets to the show (the table by the stage) . . . .and him sing a song specially for 'A Pretty Woman he met walking down the street. . . .' Can't think about that without remembering my Mum, how she loved that night - Ray was in Vietnam so I took Mum - Down to the Chevron in Kings Cross. Being a bush bunny it was Mums first concert, I had taken her to a few Gilbert & Sullivan before that - and a couple of plays, we had such a wonderful night, of course Roy was outstanding ! Then there was a post card for Christmas. Kidding my dear old Mum didn't get some mileage out of that she was nearly as stoked as I was. We saw one having lunch (a bottle of wine and then half a bottle of wine then some food and then some coffee) – this was over about 2 hours and when we left – he was still sitting and reading the papers.
