Morning All. Looks like we're saving our Lotto win for the big 21 Million!! Go Jood. Well I suppose I'd better get on the moving. Another nice day in Mudgee. I'd like to order the rain for Wednesday please. How's the back Lara? Have a great day in the garden. It least you have one, all I have is dirt! Good news about your daughter Rebs. I have only one branch of the Irish in my tree, the Reedys from Rathkeale in Limerick. Where are your lot from? Anyway, must away. I'll try and catch up again this arvo. Lew Lew xxx :-) |

Morning all... hope all the ailing ones are feeling a little better and the movers and unpackers are having a well earned rest. Mild day here in Sydney today and I wish it would rain a bit as it is so dry..no word from any takers on the van so will not worry about it as that wont make a pip of difference... Joodles Didnt you have a little lay in this morning..I am glad this week is over as my puta has been a hour ahead of me but is now in sync,, couldnt bother to change it for 1 week so had to remember to add a hour to the time.. Must go and get some lunch so will get back later.. Love Maryxx |

Morning Wattlers, opps,,,,afternoon that should be, been catching up on the chatting and the time got away from me. Lew Lew the unpacking sounds like fun...NOT but it will all be worth it when you've finished and can relax and queen it over your new kingdom. Although after we win the 21mil you'll probably want to make a few more changes...........no pressure Joodles...lol Hope you're ok now Lara and anyone else who has been under the weather. We went to an engagement party last night and my OH thinks he may have eaten something that has disagreed with him.......yea right more like what he washed it down with...lol No sympathy from me for any self inflicted 'illness' Pretty cold in Melb today, looks like winter is about to arrive....not happy, I hate the cold. A big 'Hi' to all the newbies, hope to chat to you all soon. I'm off to make a cuppa, then I might have to eat that block of topdeck in the fridge while I do the ironing. Medicinal reasons of course, it will stop me getting too depressed while I iron....PMSL Jude2 |

Afternoon Wattlers. Yes, much cooler day in ol Melb. and those words ( Mmmmm..might put a jumper on ) are coming out of me mouth..lol Still....the sun is out, but it aint got the warm bite to it. The leaf rakers are oot and aboot in our street, and the footpaths and front nature strips, are starting to dissapear under leaves. The more you rake them one day, the more they fall the next. Turned the clock's back last night, and woke up early this morning, so looked at the time...switched the leckey blanket up to 3 and ZZzzzzzzzzzz.........:>)) Hope everyone is having a good day. Tony Oz..:>)) who is going up the Fish n' chip shop now to get some Tattie cakes with heaps of Vinegar.....:>)) |

Oh dear, think it's one of those days..... Up early, made a coffee, logged on but couldn't concentrate..... eyes wouldn't stay open and head was all foggy. Felt like I had a slight hangover, but I haven't been drinking, so I went back to bed and slept till nearly 11. Tried again, made a coffee and sat and watched the V8's at the grand prix...............and fell asleep again. Haven't finished a cup of coffee yet. lol!! Who won by the way? Hope it wasn't Skaife. Think it's about 20 min till the big one starts. Go Webber!!! Very quiet on here today, is everyone having a strange day, or have you all gone out cause you have lives? Close game between the Hawks and the Dockers so far Devley. Catch you all when I'm a little more with it. Cheers, Rebs x |

Hi Wattlers - typed 'morning' and then realised it was 1.30pm!! I'm having a big clean out of my cupboard in the study which holds all my old school resources - I'm moving them to the halfwayhouse (a cupboard in the garage). I'm even throwing some of them out which is really scary! Now I'll have more room for my genealogy stuff in the study!! Lew - glad to hear you moved on a dry day and that things are going OK. How exciting to unpack all your own stuff after it has been in boxes for ages. Mary - hope you have some success with the van soon - the geriatric couple didn't sound too promising. Rebs - the meet up at Bris Vagas is going to be bigger than Ben Hur - hope you can find a place where they don't mind a lot of singing! Congratulations to your daughter for her win in the dance comp. You know the old saying - behind every succussful daughter is a dedicated mother! Glad you didn't have to cancel your order for that small device!!!!! Tony - nice that Myers are so accommodating and are holding that big telly for you. We're all counting on you now Joodles. I'm just glad that my responsibility for not losing the ticket is over! Jude 2 - hope you survive the ironing. Mine is there staring at me - my dear hubby will do it if I leave it for long enough! He was a bachelor for 40 years before I married him so he is quite used to keeping house which is such a blessing! Hope your OH recovers from the 'food poisoning' soon. I've just realised - we are all on the same time now - well the East Coast anyhow. Queenslanders don't have the fuss of putting clocks back to the correct time. Have a good day Anna |

Tonyyyyyyyyyy that wasnt very fair to say you were going to the fishn'chip shop now was it??????????????? Even tho I have had my lunch, Im drooling at the thought. Someone else had the leckey blanket on last night BEFORE she went to bed, just to warm the sheets up. Geez, and winter hasnt really started yet. I can't believe that this ere room, which was soooooo hot in summer, could be so cold today. Outside it looks a gloooooorious sunny day. Like you - I will be putting on a jumper or wearing a cardigan very soon. Sounds like you are all happy with the idea of winning 21 million dollars. Wonder what the Qld & Vic Lotto would have paid as first prize???? I can only do my best. I had a very very itchy left palm this morning - I hope that was the right one! Jude2, how is your OH now after his self-inflicted illness? pml Lew Lew - I guess you are still struggling with boxes and boxes in the new house. Did you sleep there last night? You didnt say if the rain affected you, or if it is still raining??? Jood |

Thought I'd jump on while they clear the track. Seems half the field is out of the race and they haven't even completed a race lap yet. lol!! Rudes, I'm with Joodles. No fair!!! Tattie cakes and vinegar. Yum. Takes me back to the days when I used to use my bus fare at the fish'n chip shop after school and scab a ride off the bus driver. Anna, I'm not sure where your mind is sweetie, but the small battery device I ordered was a smoke detector. I smashed the other one last week when I threw it against a wall at 2am. Damn thing kept going off for no reason. *smiles innocently* Where's Mummy Lara? Are you feeling better today Hon? Pat, sorry you can't make the Brissie meet. But then again, maybe you're taking the safer (and less embarrassing) option. Cheers Folk, love Rebs x |

Afternoon All, beautiful day in sunny Mudgee and we've just finished for the day. Hubby just putting a nice piece of pork roast in the bbq and a late lunch - yummy. Moving going remarkably smoothly and we should be in by Wednesday. New bedrooms suites and office furniture arrive on Tuesday, along with our old (about 12 months!) fridge and freezer which are currently with the panelbeater being sprayed the appropriate colour silver. The cabinet maker was still at the house when we left putting the shelves in the laundry cupboard - yes in a small country town you actually get tradespeople who work on a Saturday and Sunday! The fact that we do his legal work might have something to do with it, lol. Oooo Tony, tattie cakes. Brings back memories of when we moved from Melbourne to Sydney. Sydney people call them scallops and I was real disappointed when I ordered scallops and got potatoe cakes! By the sounds of it Rebs, you have emotional exhaustion!!!! Glass of Charddy and some cheese and biscuits will fix that. Pleased to hear all is well with your son Babs. Well, must away and continue packing. Love to you all and thanks for your support. Lew Lew, Princess of Purging!!!! xxx |

Well, just woke up again. lol!! Went back to bed after Webber bombed out of the race. Yesterdays dishes are still in the sink, so that wine and cheese are looking an interesting option right now Lew Lew.. Though I prefer a nice mellow, but slightly sweet red, and some of that Mersey Valley cheddar from Devleys way. Got a real bite to it, very crumbly, yet very creamy. Mmmm!!! Babs, where about in Melbourne is your son. Such a lovely place. I love it down there, and have felt quite homesick the last few weeks seeing the sights of the city on the telly with the coverage of the games and the grand prix over the weekend. Love to be able to move back. If I could find a job down there I'd seriously consider it. Did an inspection of the girls dress after yesterdays comp to see if any diamantes etc need to be replaced, and came close to spitting the dummy. There are bald patches everywhere. All the sequins down the inside arms of her dress and against the bodice where her arms rub have come off. That's never happened before. I may have to make a new dress if she does the state titles in August. I'll be more careful with my fabric choice this time. Grrrr!!!!! Where's that bloody wine??? And I'm still hankering after some hot, crispy potatoe cakes doused in salt'n vinegar. Very unfair of you to tease us girls Rudes. |

Laurie how is Ray getting better I hope ? and have you got back to being not on holiday yet and sorted out all you have found ? Wilson isn't that a shame I have some photos like that who I don't have a name for and so sad as someone would probably give their eye teeth for the photos of their rellies and no cant have the reward for ironing if didn't do it girl get real you will just have to send the choccie to meloland Ill send my ironing to you good bargain hehe Joodles I know you will get us a prize girl fully confident just make sure its enough for Tonys plasma and Rebs 'smoke alarm'hehe I just want enough to go to the uk please and cruise on QE2 not a lot at all Lew Good to hear everthing is going well and you will fully moved in by wednesday yes seems amazing that you can get tradies that actually come' we have been waiting for 6 weeks now for bloke who was willing to give us a quote but now won't come back and do the job all we need is the sliding doors closers that close automatically because of the pool as they must be there for us to get certificate of safety and he will not show up it's a pain in the rear. well hope everyone is well and the ones who aren't get better soon love Lara |
