that's the one Rudes. god, I hated that aweful uniform. I got a headmistress detention for not having polished shoes, so I wore shoes that didn't need polishing. Then she gave me another one for not wearing the correct shoes. I still wore them for the rest of the year. Then they decided that the shoes I had been wearing would now be put on the uniform option list, so I bought roman sandle style thingys instead..............and got another detention. silly cow used to check that we were wearing regulation color knickers by looking in our polished shoes. lol !! those were the days. hehe!!! |

Princess DI(y) My grandparents (great greats) were also in the battle of Culloden - Laughlin (McLaughlin) - I was lucky enough to stand before the plaque with Mclaughlin on it at the battlefield. .. I tell you, it was eerie. Hey you lot - dont pass judgement on donuts till you have tasted KKremes - they are nothing like the normal donut. *gets down off pedestal Jacks was the bestest game ever. .. I spent hours playing them. Plastic ones just weren't the same! .. 'The Ancient Greeks originally made the pieces from the knucklebones of sheep or goats' Jood |

Hey Jood I got to visit Culloden as well - it has a very strong aura about it - doesn't it. I got there at 9.30 am and was still there at 3.00 I just couldn't seem to leave. Hey thats good news Sophie is going home - poor little tyke. I'm still at work - late again - I'm sick of eating dinner at 8/8.30pm but still it would be worse if I didn't get fed at all! lol Rebs our headmistress used to make us kneel on the ground at Monday morning assembly and make all the teachers measure our uniforms to make sure they were the right length, then afterwards we would all hitch them up again - the prefects would always dob on us, couldn't get away with unpolished shoes though - my dad's ex airforce and a stickler for polished shoes. jude 3 |

I have a container full of knuckle bones (the real sheep ones) do you think I could sell them on E-Bay? I keep them in a large china frog. And yes - we fought over the marrow too but Tony, the thin end of a teaspoon gets further down the bone!! I actually saw a marrow-spoon on an antique show a few weeks ago. how's that for Posh? been shopping now have to go and get something for dinner - not particularly inspired I must admit. ~~~~~~Vonny |
