laurie, tell that boy of yours I'm going to kick him in the knee caps. I can reach there. hehe !!! On a more pleasant note, the weather here is beautiful. Warm and sunny, and not a cloud in the sky for miles. Breeze coming off the water is slightly chilly, buts that's to be expected. Temp has been in the early to mid 20's all week, so hopefully that will last for Sat and Sun for our visiting Wattlers.

Morning Wattlers, Lovely frosty morning here, suns up now and no sign of rain...still. I have two chooks, let them out for a scratch about yesterday afternoon and forgot to lock them up again, guess what my fenery looks like this morning. I am sure they know that they are not allowed there, they don't go near it when you are around but the minute your back is turned in they go. Oh well shouldn't have any snails and bugs for a while, just a bit of a clean up. Trifely, i was reading about your poor sick oh, do you know that when you have a doctor certificate for work, if you go to work you are not covered by workcover as your doctor has deemed you unfit to be there. So b****r what the boss thinks, he should stay home and get better quicker. Hope everyone else is fit and well. It is a sniffely time of year. Did anyone else take advantage of the cheap flights offered by jetstar? Oh and i are off to WA in July for a few days $378 return for the both of us. I am really looking forward to it. Ok I am off to do some of that nasty HW, take care all Wilson

Ha Ha Jude .. I had a laugh at you calling a customer Dr Lew Lew .. that'll teach ya! Today I drove to a shopping centre nearby, taking an elderly neighbour along for moral support, just to get a few groceries, and buy her a cup of coffee. .. She's popped in to see me a few times and I appreciated that. .. She doesnt drive, so doesnt get around that much, except when her daughter offers to take her somewhere. .. It was the least I could do. I coped ok, but very tired, back to bed for a read and rest. .. So I am getting there slowly. Probably just as well I'm not going to Brissie .. I couldnt keep up with you lot! How's our other Jude boasting about her sunbur err - suntanned body? ... b******dy cheek! Can we talk loud yet Jill Jill? Or does it still hurt? Jood

Feeling fine now thanks Jood, had a nice mug of home made pumpkin soup. A bird must have dropped a pumpkin seed and we just let it grow, and it grew and it grew, in the end we harvest almost forty Jap pumpkins off it, everybody who visits goes home with a pumpkin under their arm. Jillx

Glad your head is better nothing worse than the after celebration head - after a couple of vinos (especially red sort) my brain feels like it follows 2 steps behind the rest of me and then bashes into my skull - lol. Jood have a delightful recipe for Thai roasted pumpkin soup - it will clear your airways no worries - lol Just enjoying leftover spag bol for lunch - hopefully it will warm me up from the inside out. jude 3

Hi Laurie, How exciting. I see that your life is just as thrilling as mine. LOL Roll on Saturday. I am hoping that I am not tired out before I begin. We will need to leave home just after 8am to get the dog into the kennels and then to the statiopn to catch a train, to arrive at South bank for 11am. Do you know, is it easy to park at Southpark if we decide to come in the car. I looked on the web site but it said the carpark closed at 5pm. I guess you will be in bed soon to catch the flight up here, so night night and sleep tight. See ya all soon SuzyQ

Hi, Thanks for that Rebs. I was thinking that we wouldn't need to set out so early, but Neville prefers to do that and catch a train. It's become very dark out our way. Big black clouds. Hope it stays away on Saturday. I don't own a rain coat, in fact I don't own a coat of any kind. For those who want to know, I am doing a new wattle list and trying to make it a bit clearer. I bought some cheap copy paper and it doesn't scan very well. I will try it with Neville's expensive plastic coated paper and the laser printer. i am out tomorrow, so will catch up on Friday Love SuzyQ

just a thought Suzy, but does anyone object to having phone numbers added to the list? I don't have a problem with mine being passed amongst the Wattlers.

Hi, was that accindental Rebs 5550. ( that spelling just doesn't lokk right ) Was just thinking the other day. I think it was Jill that said she wasn't going to re new her member ship until she found us. Last year, I actually let mine lapse, there was a weird person who was quite controlling and even started to be on messenger every time I logged on. It was a bit freaky, and then Mary told me about this new thread and how there are been a meet up with Honey rum and the Wattle Club was formed. I can't believe it's only last October time. As you can tell, I re-newed and the rest is history. The friendships that have been formed here are a blessing in disguise for, dare I say, a few of us. And finally on Saturday some of us will be meeting for the first time. Also, strangely enough, although we are cyber friends, I have no worries at all about meeting you. I just hope my gut feelings are right and there isn't a chain saw killer among you. pmsl. Love SuzyQ
