Hi Wattlers It's 9:15 at the end of a long, weary day. Mark rang work at 8:30 am to let them know he was crook.....the boss infered that Mark was ok and just wanted the day off. Needless to say I was NOT pleased. I managed to get Mark in to visit the Dr and he's been diagnosed with respiratory tract infection. He's on antibiotics and panadol to ease the aches and lower the temp. The Dr gave him a cert for today and tomorrow however.....Mark is determined to go in even if he has to crawl. It upset him to think someone would think he would lie about being sick. I'm driving him to work in the morning. I don't want him tackling the 'long car park' that is Gold Coast traffic while he's sick. It'll serve the boss right if all the staff come down with the bug! I had a quick read of the posts but I'm tired and not a lot of it made sense. That is...less sense than usual pmsl. Jill Jill.....congrats on the moving out of your son. But if I were you I'd wait untill he was right out the door before I celebrated. They have an awful tendency to come back. Lara....Marks lap top puts itself into 'hibernation' when the battery gets low. ie...when I use it on battery NOT power. I don't do anything. It just either goes black and switches off OR I get a little window which says 'going into hibernation' then it switches off. Have a look in your.. ...'My computer' then 'Control panel' then 'power settings'. It might have something there. I just settled Mark with pills and a drink so I'm off to bed. Von, we always use tropical strength 'RID' when we go to Indo - sorry girl - but not a time to be too concerned about the chemical content . . . you just have to make sure that none of the little blighters bite you !!! We even have to take up large quantities of the RID for friends each trip !!! Did you get lomotil and charcoal ??? luv Laurie

The first thing both both Chris and I said to her was - 'Imagine how well you'd do if you practiced!!!' Mary - you must be so excited that you've secured the unit that you love so much. Good morning all, a clearer day on Botany Bay this morning, though there is a large bank of dark clouds hovering off shore. The sun is shinning for the moment, and there are for giraffes basking in its rays. There is a lovely big, bright blue ship over at Port Botany, so much nicer than the dull grey we normally see! I'm sure it would be easier to see at sea too!!! Trifley, how is Mark this morning - have the drugs kicked in . . . hope he spreads his germs all over the nasty boss!! Rebs, the lovely Ray is 6'1' and both the boys tower over him - Glen rests his chin on top of his Dad's head every time I go to take a photo of them . . . Anna give Katherine a big well done from me too . . . nice when they achieve isn't it - a nice reward for your efforts too! Oh !!!! JILLY, JILLY, JILLY !!! Oooooppps sory luvie did that hurt your head (chuckles to self) Its not the wine that causes the headache, its the preservatives . . . . so know you are being well preserved, that should bring you comfort!!!
