Mudgee with the 'j' sound, Cat. It's aboriginal for 'nest in the hills' and the town still nicely in the a little valley. Luckily, the Council have imposed building restrictions and the hills cannot be built on, so the town will remain surrounded by beautiful hills. LL x

Of course it would pmsl ;-) Glad to hear the hills won't be built on though. Sounds a beautiful place and too often beautiful places are ruined by people building all over them.

I can understand you preferring siamese or burmese cats, Lew, my daughter has always only had siamese. But looks like you might have a wee family of kits now for your friends. ... Give them a pat from Aunty Jude.
